Linda, are you still about? I've got to go pick up some tamiflu for my sister tomorrow and just wondered what the queues are likely to be like? And can I be sure that the people there wont have it, I don't really want to be exposed. I've told sister I'll leaver her stuff outside the door, I'm not going in to risk catching it (i've got immune problems). That's if she's even got it...
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
  • It's dead quiet at the moment Ames, just make sure you have the correct ID for yourself and your sister!

Symptomatic patients are not permitted in the flu centres, you're more likely to catch it in the supermarket than the tamiflu centre!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

That's good to hear, I've got her chequebook and my driving license etc, so that should be ok?

Maybe I'll just get her the meds and forget her shopping!

  • cheque book or recent card statement, council tax payment book, that kind of thing is fine.

  • Bit of a late random post from me but can I say I love 'old' people :j I have been looking for a dvd for about 2 weeks but the prices online I wasnt prepared to pay. Anyways I saw one on ebay (ok it was a promo one but who cares) for 95p, so I bid and won. After looking at the sellers 'me' page he is actually 70 and sells lots of dvd in his retirement as someinthing to do, he first used a pc when he was 63 :D Just checked my email and he has left a lovely email for me thanking me for paying early (seconds after auction) and that he will make sure he sends it tommorow. So cute :A

(Dennis just typed that by plonking his huge paw on my laptop - don't have the heart to delete it. He was probably attempting to type 'food please')
