  • Hi F_F, Glad to hear you had a fab Christmas and have also braved the sales! I'm watching the pennies until all DDs are paid out so hoping there'll still be goodies out there in the next couple of weeks. Am consoling myself with the fact that I got some very lovely and thoughtful gifts - I was hoping for cash but if I had got that it would have just been thrown at the debt.

If you still have the diary to give away my mum would love it as she needs one and she's also the person who introduced me to mse. I will PM you my address if its still available?

I'm thinking of my diary at the mo. one of my challenges is £0  on clothes for the whole year. The only way I'm allowing myself to purchase anything clothes-wise is: a) if its part of a mystery shop brief, b) from my spends whilst actually on hols - not before I go:naughty: and c) from gift vouchers I may receive for birthday... this could get interesting...

Wishing you and Mr Fresian all the best for the New Year!

Diary is still free, just ping me your address and I'll send it on to you. It's really nice, just no use for me!

Clothes - are you on Lula's challenge for clothes? The rules of that one allow you to spend over your budget on clothes if you have made money from Ebay selling your old clothes. Maybe you could try that?

Also, played my last £10 of BB money today (Last of the birthday bonus) I have already won £5 with it which I have withdrawn and I have pre-bought the rest of the games, so I'm hoping I'll win a little more :j
  • Hi F_F, I have just sent my name and address to you - my mum wil be really pleased - thank you in advance for your kindness! :D

I've not joined any challenges at the mo. - I'm aiming to make myself be more creative and wear what I have or update my things with a bit of sewing. I always want to de-clutter and have really reduced lots of what I have so not too much left for e-bay. It will be a tough challenge methinks but should help keep me out of the shops!! :T

    Morning all!

Mr Fresian shall be heading to the Post Office today DFW, so you should get your diary early next week. Hope your mum likes it!

I'm posting at this evil hour as I return to work today *sob* after three lovely weeks off. I really am quite miserable at the thought of returning, but it's only three days this week which I suppose isn't too bad.

Mr Fresian has agreed that I can use his card for BB so expect to see me on there soon in a different guide now that my time is over. I won another £5 last night with my prebought games, so will be able to withdraw that when I get home from work.

Right, shower time. I need an early shower as the pavements are icy and I'm going to be like Bambi On Ice walking to the bus this morning  I'm allowing myself extra time for

    A) Falling over on the way to the bus
    B) Buses running late due to dodgy weather
    C) Not being able to find something essential for work
    D) General fannying about
    E) Drying my hair

Hope you all have a lovely day!

Hello and a belated Merry Christmas from me! Glad you had a lovely time and also enjoyed your trip up to the frozen north (it's still frozen by the way - minus 6 a wee while ago). Not been posting much recently but still enjoying keeping up with all your antics! I keep reading about this BB thing - maybe I will have a wee peep at it myself now! Hope being back at work was not too stressful.

Work was everything I thought it would be :( Time to dust off the CV and accept that since the restructure it's not the job I want to be in and try to move on.

On the bright side, Travelodge £9 sale is back for May-September. I've made that clickable for those who're interested. That'll be another 5.30am start to make sure I book a night away somewhere!
