I picked up my S&G hatbox from Boots yesterday and then met the lovely Palema for a coffee and for her to give me the "spare" hatbox she bought me in case my online order fell through. I am sending the spare to mumof4 from the PAD thread as her Boots store was sold out.
Palema also brought me some home-made fudge (Sooooo good) and gingerbread (which I've had to hide from Mr Fresian) which was very kind of her! We're going to try and meet up with Clootiesmum in the New Year as well
Today I'm about to go for a shower then break my rule of no heating before lunchtime as it's baltic in the house  According to the news it got down to -11 here last night! Then I need to wake up Mr Fresian and send him to town for my Christmas present while I go and buy food for tomorrow. It's never-ending!

Hi FF,
I'm bad I know. The new job went mental and then went even mentaller (new word for Christmas). We must catch up in New Year. W/b 4th Jan looks sane and I'm in next week assuming I can get out of the village by then. Never ever been snowed in here before - locals say worst weather for 30 years.
So New Year, new start and nice dinner out one evening.
Hope you and Mr FF have the fabbiest Christmas imaginable and I hope that 2010 brings you everything you wish for.
Take care,

Hi all!
Hope you all survived Christmas ok and that Santa was good to you! I got some lovely gifts, including some recipe books, jewellery and lots of Dr Who DVDs
For my own information more than anything, sales stuff:
M&S
Undies: [strike]£46[/strike] £21
Mugs x 2 [strike]£9 each[/strike] £2 for 2
Wrapping paper x 3 [strike]£3.50 each[strike] £3 for 3
Gift for me [strike]£19.50[/strike] £9
I went through Quidco and the cashback will pay for half the cost of the delivery :j
I have also bought three tops and three pairs of trousers in the Very sale for the princely sum of £36.45 (I did use a £10 off code, but I'm not counting it until I get the bill!)
My plan for today (I must be mad...) is to head to the Next and Boots sales. I want to buy as many items of clothing at half price as I can so I don't have to buy a lot for work during the year. I have some Christmas money to spend as wellIf Accessorize is open I might check out their sale too :rotfl:
Anyone else crazy enough to hit the shops?
