    I've come here for a confession. I've just spent......

    £134 on Grocery Shopping at Morrisons. I very nearly fainted when I got to the check out.....

    (posted here because I want to make myself feel trebly and quadruply bad at how well you are doing!)

    Ach b*llocks! There is no need to feel bad. Look at the receipt, figure out where you went wrong and do better next time!

    I'm only doing well out of sheer lack of funds to do badly with :D

    Hello...sorry for absence and thank you for the golf offer. Happy to spot a drink or three. When do you fancy meeting up.

    Yay!! You're alive!! :j

    Next week I'm in Glasvegas on Tuesday and then out on Wednesday for dinner with my pals (Monthly [strike] gossip-fest [/strike] catch-up for us)

    I think Thursday is good for me. You wanna just meet up in the same place as last time? I might even be able to stretch to food this time! :rotfl:

    Quick money post

    Spends = £140
    PAD = £20 (At the moment, will be sending more money there soon!)
    Groceries = £150.26 (£210 budget this month, already had Sainsbury's shop)
    Entertainment = £40

    Purse = £31.18

    There are 28 days until payday :eek:
    Debti situation is as follows:

    Loan: £6092.78 :mad:
    Overdraft: £170.23 (Before payday, I have paid off a little bit of it this morning)
    Credit card: £94.71 (It's more at the moment but I have made payments and this should be the balance once they are done)

    This is total debt of £6,357.72 but I have savings which I am offsetting against this (I hope they will allow me to repay the loan early at some point) of £1,050 so the total debt is £5,307.72.

    This has been worse but it's annoying me to see the overdraft creep back up along with the credit card. I need to be an iron-willed budgeteer this month!

    Well if anyone can be an iron-willed budgeteer you can f_f. You're still doing really well, I bet a year ago you didn't have over £1,000 in the bank! And your income is down from your lodger so remember how far you have come and how well you are still doing.

  • Hi Flying Fresian :hello: I'm just popping out of lurks-ville to say I think you are doing brilliantly with your targets. I also wanted to ask about Bingo Port / Point :confused: as I think you've mentioned that you play this. Is it straightforward? If so I think I'm looking for a referral :D.

    I don't post very often as I still feel very much like a newbie :o but I am looking to start my own diary for the New Year - gosh still seems ages away... and you have been a great inspiration. I also save the butter tokens for freebie things and am so hoping for a picnic blanket *fingers crossed* and the baking set. OH will only have butter so its not something I can reduce cost on but we need a treat and have made cutbacks on other things like the bread lol :rotfl:

    Hello!

    If you want a referral then PM me your email address and I will get right on it! You should receive an email from BingoPort saying that I have invited you to play. All I need you to do is play 750 points in bingo not slots and then I get loadsa points!

    Laura kindly PM'd me an Anchor code today so I only need 13 more cows to get my baking set :j There is no point in me getting a picnic blanket as my cats would ruin it in seconds. They like new blankets.

    Not a lot of DFW news today (I wasn't going to update but felt it rude to ignore a lurker!! You're only a newbie until you post your own diary by the way, then it's hard to stop!)

    I bought my dad's birthday present and arranged for it to be sent to him. Delivery was £4.95 :eek: but I don't have time to go to town this week and his birthday is on the 2nd which was cutting it fine. By the time I paid for postage myself at the Post Office I wouldn't be saving loads.

    I received two Xmas presents today (For other people sadly!) A Terry Wogan book for my dad (£2.45 from Bangzo's free book of the day) and a digital photo keyring for a friend (£2.99 from Gadgetshop in their Month of Madness promo. As my friend bought other stuff in my order the postage wasn't evil either!)

    So, Christmas is slowly getting sorted and all is well in Fresian Towers.

    Facebook viewers will know that Mr Fresian bravely slew the Evil Spider Beast that ran at me in the kitchen earlier. This f*cker was massive. *shudder* Mr Fresian is in the GOOD BOOKS for that little piece of manliness. Gawd love him.

    No other news really so I'm off to A) Watch Series 6 of 24 in preparation for the arrival of Series 7 this week *squee* and B) Harvest the Farmville crops. Gosh darn you PADders for getting me into this nonsense :rotfl:

    I went onto the Barclaycard website this morning to request a new PIN number because I have only used the card online before and I wanted to use it for my work expenses to keep them separate.

    "Tell us why you need a new PIN"

    Clearly I don't know it.
