Ooh bad luck for brother.
I once persuaded my very fastideous little brother that his poo would smell much nicer if he let me squirt perfume up his bum...amazing how high a small boy can jump when properly motivated :rotfl::rotfl:

Morning all!
I have been very bad and not updated properly in a while, so here's how the funds are first of all....
Money
Spends = £107.49
PAD = £5
Groceries = £52.33
Entertainment = £30.45
Purse = 23p
There are 18 days until payday :eek:
Still, there are Reasons To Be Cheerful!
My Christmas shopping is nearly finished, just a couple of gifts to go. I have already sorted my parents, brother and best friend and the rest are incidental. I have done well with my bargain hunting this year and have stockpiled lots of really nice gifts - the next step will be wrapping them :eek: I think I'm going to do some of this at the weekend so they can be sent Up North with my folks.
I finally got some vouchers through from Toluna so I can stop boycotting their infernal surveys and start doing them again (I wasn't sure if I was going to ever get the vouchers so decided to wait) As I opted for high street vouchers and had £10 credit on my New Look card, I now have a snazzy pair of work trousers at a cost to me of NOTHING!! :j
I have busted my budget on the Weekly Spend Challenge again by buying a new handbag (It's beautiful though) and sorting out my rail tickets home for Christmas (£20 return which isn't too bad although my dad is going to have to meet me in Inverness and drive me home) but next week is another week.
Today I plan to have home-made chicken soup for lunch (Om nom nom) with bread I got in Morrisons for 15pand last night we had sausage sandwiches for dinner. The sausages were really nice despite being less than £1 for a packet and I had mine on a "rustic" roll which I had gotten reduced to two for 19p
As you can see from the money info at the top of the post, I have spent a lot of my groceries budget so it shall be whoopsies a-go-go for the rest of the month. Tonight I plan to make a vat of bolognaise and freeze lots of it so that there are plenty of "ready meals" in the freezer.
Must dash - Friday tomorrow, Internets, hurrah!

In additional news, I have taken out some money from my small savings account and have paid off my credit card and the overdraft from Alliance and Leicester is reducing steadily. When I get the interest from my big savings account at the end of the month I am going to hopefully be able to pay the overdraft off altogether. I'm going to keep those savings instant access from now on though due to the tightness of our current budget.0

You're going for the debts big style.
Not impressed with the extras for a 3d movie - that's pretty cheeky.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
After my escapades to the cinema today I have found out the evil cineworld are reducing the price of 3D films or that is how they are selling it. In actual fact they are now charging £1.30 to go and see 3D films (a reduction from £1.50) but they are now charging 80p for the glasses but you are now allowed to reuse them. So if you reuse the glasses you save 20p which is something but if you forget them or they break it will cost you £2.10. I smell a scam.:rolleyes:Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30
