Can't go into loads of details, but work have been p*ssing me around and it's been a rubbish week as a result (Spent a good chunk of yesterday in tears) Some of our offices are closing and I know lots of lovely people getting made redundant. I want a secure job please. None of this financial services pish.

Added to this is the lack of money that I have again this month. I bought a new router today which has wiped out my instant access savings as the old one had given up the ghost and I can't do without the internet. That was £25 down the drain. We're going to a gig in Glasgow tomorrow and it's cost us £15 in bus fares to get there plus the cost of getting back from the centre of town (£15+ in a taxi I think) I won't get back until 2am and have work on Friday. I'm starting late though so I can go to the M&S Penny Bazaar so I'm going to be shattered by the time I get home on Friday night.

I'm tired, cranky and poor and I'm sick of being all of the above. Mr Fresian hasn't been well of late and is close to being kicked off his college course due to non-attendance. There is talk of him being taken into the hospital for inpatient psychiatric treatment which is just flipping marvellous this close to Christmas. Which isn't fully paid for either by the way. I don't know how we're going to keep on going with this little cash.

I am going to have to do some decluttering this weekend and maybe stick some things on Ebay too. I need to make plans but I don't have the mental energy. *sob*

Normal perky service will be resumed soon. Honest.
  • F_F thats carp about Mr Fresian! Does his college know about his health issues? Surely they should be trying to encourage him to come in rather than throw him off the course?! And do you not get any support from his Dr? I hope he doesn't get taken into hospital this close to Xmas.

Sorry about the work stuff too. The media are giving the impression that things are starting to settle down, but clearly in the fiinancial industry there still a along way to go. Hope you're safe in your job

    (((Big hugs))) for you

Aww, thanks Sarah! It really does help venting about this online!

I just noticed your location as well - among the jolly PAD farmers indeed!!

In entertaining news, I mentioned to a colleague at work about Farmville and she plays obsessively too. I did say to her that I didn't want to friend her as I use an alias online due to having an unusual name and also having been a little bit cyber-hassled by a former customer when I worked in retail.

She found me though - came up to my desk and just said "Flying Cow?"

How did she find me? We had been seeing how long we could last without our central heating (1st week in November, woo!) and I made a comment on a mutual friend's page about Mr Fresian leaving the heating on all day and she found me from that :rotfl: She's one of my neighbours on FV now :D
