I've heard of them, but can't remember what they're like really :o - enjoy!
  • In entertaining news, I mentioned to a colleague at work about Farmville and she plays obsessively too. I did say to her that I didn't want to friend her as I use an alias online due to having an unusual name and also having been a little bit cyber-hassled by a former customer when I worked in retail.

She found me though - came up to my desk and just said "Flying Cow?"

How did she find me? We had been seeing how long we could last without our central heating (1st week in November, woo!) and I made a comment on a mutual friend's page about Mr Fresian leaving the heating on all day and she found me from that :rotfl: She's one of my neighbours on FV now :D

OMG! Thats quite scary! How would she know who you were by the cow?! That would freak me out ever so slightly!

My friend mentioned the heating embargo on FB, she knew I had been trying to leave it off as long as possible and that I'm really good friends with the girl whose page I commented on.

    Hi there,

Looks like a crying fest for us then. OH is desperately trying to tell me its all ok, agent was meant to drop me an email confirming but hasn't probably because I told her how unchuffed I was. What more can happen to us babe - it's a global bl00dy conspiracy.

And to cap it all builders started tonight. They wanted to rip out old bathroom (2 hours work tops) so that the 6 sets of tradesmen coming tomorrow could start with a blank canvas. Chap next door comes and and tells them to stop the f***ing noise or he'll have them. Plumber turns to him and says it 5pm not midnight ... "I'd don't care what the f***ing time is. It's dark and I can't hear the telly!!" Give me strength.

Lunch, drinks, something good soon. Hope your OH is bearing up, you're stress levels will be impacting on him.

Well, it's amazing what a good nights sleep does for the brain.

Yes, I'm skint. Yes, work is difficult. Yes, Mr Fresian isn't well.

    HOWEVER

I (in theory) have enough money to pay the bills and buy all the food I need each month without getting into more debt. I just have to be an Iron-Willed Budgeteer and not spend my money on sh*t.

I have a job. At the moment, I just have to be thankful for that.

Mr Fresian will get better, it just might take longer than either of us want, and if that involves him going to hospital then so be it. A bus pass is a glorious thing and I can visit.

    Positive things

My annual evaluation of my work benefits is complete and I have cancelled my high street vouchers as the discount was worth it when you got free postage but now it's not as I was only buying £30 per month. So, £30 per month saved :D That will bump my wages a little as of January.

I have joined Bingo Britain thanks to reading macgirl's thread, and shall be enjoying the £5 daily bonus and hopefully making some money. I won £5 this morning but can't withdraw until tomorrow.

There is loads of stuff in my spare room which could go on Ebay, I just need to sort it out myself!

M&S Penny Bazaar tomorrow. I really want a money box. Is anyone else going to it in their local town? If so, is there anything you really want, maybe we could do contingency swapsies?

Parents visit next weekend which means that I get loads of meat for my freezer and they're going to pay for a new freezer for me (A second one to keep in our hall cupboard) which means I can batch cook in December and have loads of room for whoopsie as well as pre-cooked meals I have done myself. This will be MSE in the long run hopefully.

I'm going to be late for work...

What do the M&S points give you tomtom? I have thought about getting one as my Halifax/Ipoints one isn't worth it for me any more.

Aw bless F_F, you are a star!

With a positive attitude like that you're sure to be ok ;)

As for the bingo, don't forget to deposit £20 so you can withdraw £25 before you play again - don't go spending your winnings!
