I've just bought the new Dan Brown book today from Saino's! Well technically Mr Nectar points paid for it as I recently had to buy some glasses from D&A and got 2000 nectar points for doing so!
I'll let you know if it's any good as I settle down to read it in the hairdressers chair at 9am (for 2 hours) on Saturday morning.....0 -

Bleeding 'ell I have just got back from holidays to find a new thread with 9 (count them 9) pages to catch up on.:p
Sorry to hear the work situation is not the best.
Are you going to sell the Billy Connolly tickets? If so where is it and how much?
Happy new diary.:j
PP
Would only be getting rid of my one ticket which is for thr Usher Hall (Edinburgh) on Thursday. Cost me £34  but will be happy to get anything for it. Sad I can't go though. I'm trying to think happy thoughts in case I make a recovery
This thread is only 5 pages on my screen. I think you can play with the settings to let you see more posts per page. I can't remember how though!!0 -
I hope you start feeling better soon. You seem to have a real dose of something very nasty.
I'll cancel the mystery pizza and we can go next week or whenever you're feeling a bit better.
I'm oop north most of the day so hopefully coming back with good news, then the popcorn will be on me!:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -

I was hoping that I would be able to come along but I think we'll have to postpone. Humph.
If the popcorn's on you the corner shop across from the pictures has bags for less than £1 which is better than the cinema stuff :rotfl:
Good luck for tomorrow

I was in Portugal for 2 weeks (with a dash of Seville), twas lovely but very hot (45 degrees in Seville:eek:)
Oh that is a shame as if you had 2 tickets I know other half would like to have gone. Good luck with selling it I am sure you will find a taker, Billy is a gem.
I will investigate the posts per page option who knew such a thing existed
*edit* I found it, it is under options and now I can see 40 posts per page. You are indeed correct the thread is now 5 pages:D

Morning all,
Off back to work today I think. I'm still not 100% but I'm bored in the house. I may have a cough but I could still put in a days work. I'm one of those people who feels guilty for being off work.
Although my evening with kissjen has been put on hold, I'm still hoping I'll be ok for Billy Connolly tomorrow!
Made a PAD today which means I only have to pay £100 off the laptop to clear it :j If I am charged interest next month it should be less than £2
Right, shower calls.
Xx
