Off work again. Feel poo and know I'm a bad patient :o

Mr Fresian is also off college today as he's really ill with it too. I'm coughing like a mo-fo anyway, but he's still a heavy smoker (whereas I quit a year ago :A) so he's suffering more.

I really wanted to get things done today but I'm so flipping tired. Grr...

Try to rest f_f, you'll recover quicker. A nice warm blanket and a mug of hot lemon and honey. Take care, hun x

Melly - ouch! Hope you're not too hurt.
One step at a time ;)

Oh yeah thanks, just got some scraped palms and a scraped knee!
I was more embarrassed than anything laid sprawled whilst the cars drove around me!
I got up quick smart and got back on my bike, praying that no one I knew had seen me!

Amazing how the shame masks the pain until you can get somewhere quiet and howl like a banshee (not that I have any experience of this of course :rotfl:).

Moo Coo you're deed ... you need to rest up and we can go next week.

Aberdeen is interesting. They gave me a company email account today, think that means I've got the job?

Think I'll have to agree with you on this one  I think I'm doing ok then start coughing again. I really want a nap...

I've spent the last two hours playing free slots/bingo on Bingoport and have just redeemed for another £5 Foxy Bingo money. At least I'm doing something MSE :D I need to get to the supermarket either tonight - unlikely as I'm sitting in my jammies - or tomorrow as I was meant to go yesterday and we have no food.

If I'm not out with kissjen then the meal plan is b*ggered too.

I have a sneaking suspicion that I won't make the Billy Connolly show on Thursday as laughing sets off horrible coughing fits. Need to try and figure out what to do with that as well. Gumtree methinks.
  • Hope you're feeling a bit better - I've just been to a Body Combat class so at least if I fall off my bike again and it lands on me, I can fight it off me!

Oh well at least I came home and out I had won a spanking new Rimmel mascara courtesy of the competitions on here - every cloud and all that.....

    Get well soon x
  • Get well soon F_F

I've just got over the dreaded cold and coughing bug, not nice at all.

    Take care of yourself

Can't face climbing the muckle big hill to go to Asda today. Even the £5 Dan Brown book can't tempt me...I really want it!!

I decided that I may as well spend the last of this month's budget and get myself prepped for the month ahead. So, here's what I bought! (If you're doing the Grocery Challenge expect to see this on there soon!)

Free range eggs (15) £2.00 Worked out cheaper per egg than SmartPrice :T

    2 x Swiss muesli £2.00

1 x Frosties £2.39 Mr Fresian loves his kids cereals

    Binbags £2.50

1 x Beef Mince £3.33 Will be split into smaller portions and used through the month

    2 x Sandwich Ham £3.00

    2 x Baby button mushrooms £1.00

    1 x Ruskoline £0.51

0.4kg Onions £0.30 Almost certainly won't be enough, I wish there was an option for a number of onions not a weight!

    0.5kg Carrots £0.34

8 Super noodles - chicken £2.00 4 for £1 and my guilty pleasure :D:D Will keep me going for at least two months. Honest.

    2 x Catsan £15.82 Soddingexpensivemoggiesmuttermutter

    Subtotal £64.95
Delivery £0.00 Thanks for the code MSE

Total £55.02 which could be worse!

I'll pop this on the Grocery Challenge and my challenge with moo2moo once it's delivered and I know if there have been substitutions etc. Should last the next week on a tenner for bread and milk.

Bleeding 'ell I have just got back from holidays to find a new thread with 9 (count them 9) pages to catch up on.:p

Sorry to hear the work situation is not the best.

Are you going to sell the Billy Connolly tickets? If so where is it and how much?

    Happy new diary.:j
