There is one brave soul not buying clothes for a year and one who sounds fantastic, and usually, from her itemised costs, dresses for pennies. The idea is too look good affordably

Isn't string theory one part of a theory of everything (TOE) which as a shoe fetishist is surely something you are an expert on? With 17 different dimensions you would have thought they could make a comfortable pair of Jimmy Choos wouldn't you?String theory? Is that the one involving thongs?I think....0

In The Arms there are currently threads on whether it's right to tell a 9 year old what a clitoris is, whether tall people are more intelligent that small people, the merits of shoulderpads and a thread about a 15 year old girl who practices dressing up her cat in baby clothes.
We are currently discussing gifted new build deposits, 25 years of austerity, the Aberdeen property market, job prospects at Halifax and the future of tax credits under a different political regime.
Two questions:
1. Are we geeks?
2. Should we all swap boards for a week or two? I think fresh perspectives on all of the above would be very interesting. Who wouldn't want to hear Dopester giving his views on what children call their genitals? Or Generali's opinion on shoulderpads and other modes of powerdressing?
1. I am, don't know about the rest of you.
2. Personally, I am not a huge fan of shoulderpads. My opinion is that they are no substitute for competence in the workplace despite many middle managers seeking to show otherwise.
I have no opinion on what children call their genitals. Mine are called Dave however.GrammarGirl wrote: »I like the sound of this Generali chap... tell me, does he know much about spray tans? Or tooth whitening? Or even (and this is a long shot) where to find the best black leggings? If so we shall welcome him with open arms and await his wisdom.
The main thing with a spray tan is to exfoliate a day or two ahead of it and to have a shower just before time. Probably best not to have it done on a really hot day.
Always see a dentist about tooth whitening, here are some real cowboys out there. Tooth whitening toothpaste will make your teeth go yellow in the end as they remove the enamel.
La Redoute always used to be a good place to buy quality but inexpensive black leggings.
I await the open arms.vivatifosi wrote: »Heavens above misskool, next you'll be telling us you understand string theory. I've heard even Gen doesn't understand that...
A little known fact is that the human brain isn't big enough to be able to understand string theory and swap pricing. I chose the latter as my experience is that bankers' wives are better looking than physicists'.you are secretly in love with Gen.
Isn't everybody? I know I am.0 -
