Based on that recent news story where men apparently lose their marbles when confronted with an attractive woman (although the study claimed this did not apply to women...)?

Although they did not check what the reaction of the women was when the men were rich rather than handsome;);)
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:

But, according to Max Headroom, you are the vase of raisins...so I, for one, would be content with your spilling.:rotfl:

Right, you mean like Rod the wealthy singer v. Rod the gravedigger?

I think you'll find many women become sharper in that scenario, not more ditsy. Although men don't always notice that.

I've remembered. And it wasn't the news it was some science programme on later, about monkeys playing with toys.

Boy monkeys like things tht move (toy cars) girl monkeys like dollies. Interesting because monkeys are presumed to be free of (human) cultural conditioning. I'd love to read the paper.

So how do they understand the significance of a toy car?

There is nothing to say they do in the story as I half saw it presented. I'm surprised I didn't pay more attention.:o

What they is is that the toy moves its suggsted boy monkeys like moving things IIRC.

Whats more interesting to me, with no real thought in to it, depending on the monkeys past is the presumtion they are free from conditioning. But, one would have to know more about he experiment and the conditions to make any judgement on that.

Sorry, you've lost me there. The most famous natural history item from the Galapagos is of course the tortoise......Ah, yes, I see now! Nine year old have been known to get things a bit wrong, no matter how accurate the input.

Of course there is this one too, which I've always meant to add to my collection, but it would probably be a bit tender here:

Sorry you missed my poor attempt a humour a couple of posts up. :)
