  • At a gynecologists convention Dr. Goldfinger began to read his paper on "The Variation of the Clitoris"."One of the most unusual cases I ever came across," he told his audience, "was a clitoris that had a close resemblance to a watermelon."Dr. Goldfinger was interrupted by another doctor, who said that he might have been examining an enlarged organ but to compare it to a watermelon would indeed be frivolous.Goldfinger stared him down and replied: "I wasn't referring to size but to taste."

BTW the Daily fashionista thread is a good one.:) I've missed contributing this week. :(

One of the first I read was great....then I looked again and it had turned into war. Then I got confused with who was who and I got scared off + never went back.

What I really loved was the banality of it...it was a great read. Bit like the comedian; Paul Whitehouse sketch ''Today, I will mostly be wearing....''

Cleaver would like it. Post first thing to kick start the brain into gear.

Its just one thread now (which I think is better, only if you miss a couple of days you can't make time to thank everyone for not wearing jeans).

    1. Are we geeks?

    2. Should we all swap boards for a week or two? I think fresh perspectives on all of the above would be very interesting. Who wouldn't want to hear Dopester giving his views on what children call their genitals? Or Generali's opinion on shoulderpads and other modes of powerdressing?

In real life, I am an ULTIMATE geek, so not bothered about on here.

and I've been swapping boards to old-style at the moment, today I've made spiced plum jam, apple and blackberry jam, elderberry and plum jam and plum chutney. :D

I'm sure he may pitch up himself and give you his pearls of wisdom, but I imagine that he might feel that if there are a number of you with a real interest in aquiring black leggings then you may be arriving late to a bull market. The smart investors would have jumped in early when black leggings weren't in vouge, bought at low prices which may have created an unsustainable asset bubble in the black leggings market. The p/e ratio on these items are simply not value, and he'd probably advise that a downward cycle in the black leggings world is now almost a certainty; the transaction levels we are seeing for nylon cannot be supported in a sustainable market.

And obviously pants may be up for the short term, but given the dreadful state of the underlying fundamentals, they'll be coming down again soon.

Oddly enough I've been mostly on the Old Style board today too, making chip butties.

In the mind of Brodders, very probably.
