Hmph, have avoided 'studentphil', because every time I read his posts, I have an adverse reaction.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

This reminds me of a brilliant bit of observation by Eddie Izzard, I think it was, describing how fashion was like a circle, and 'highly, cutting-edge fashion' and 'complete dork' kind of met up at both extremes - the same outfit worn by 1 person could be fabulously avant-garde whilst on another, it would just be ultra nerd.

Am just watching a quiz on BBC 4 in which 4 people with a total IQ of 565 pit themselves against 4 glamour models (all Jodie Marsh style white teeth). Clearly the geeks have been dazzled by the teeth (etc), because the teams are absolutely equal.

There was something or other on the news about women v men, but can't remember what. Probbly that women are flippertyjibbets or something. Probably that they are to scatter braind to rememeber news items and/or find link to them when they start blathering on about them.0
