If this doesn't sound like a silly question ... where do people get the money to pop into their sealed pot? I actually was popping more money into my pot before my LBM but now post-LBM, I just don't take the same amount of cash out that I used to. I use my card to make most of my payments as it is a great way to keep track of my spending..I can't recall the last time I popped some money in there.

    Any tips/suggestions very welcome

  • Hello all

I was in this challenge but lost my way. Am skulking back in the side door and shuffling my way into a back seat in a dark corner. My pots have been sealed and unsealed (the £1 coins i paid off a debt and the 2ps and 10ps I put into the 2p machines in Blackpool - there wasn't that much cash wise and I put in no more than I would have anyway, it just saved the bag up and take to the bank)

Since I last posted on here I jacked in my job (still dragging through my notice period - yawn) and now have a new one that I start in a couple of weeks.

Anyhow, I guess what I really want to say is....

    Will you have me back???

Hello there PAID!!!! Will we have you back???? You feel you need to ask??? Never fear as it's lovely to see you back again! Never mind coming in through the side door, you come in the front, say a big hello to all...... sit yourself down and continue on as if you'd never been away. :D We all get times like that when times aren't so good, but that's life...we live it and carry on! So good to hear you have another job, I hope you like it and it goes well. You've still a fair bit of time to save more cash, do your best!:j

    Welcome home!

I'm, sorry to hear things aren't going too brilliantly for you at the moment, I hope things pick up for you soon. I'm sure your ideas are bucked enough as they are, I wouldn't worry about it.
    Have a dodgy hug :grouphug:

I'm afraid I don't have any major life enhancing suggestions, just mainly roadkill and recycling for me, but if you hang around I'm sure there'll be plenty of suggestions. I believe Sparky knows quite a few websites you can do 'clicks' with.

Hi brokemedic ...there's no such thing as a stupid question...unless you already know the answer! I see what you mean about using your card to pay now since your LBM, but unless you have access to cash then it's difficult to know a means, especially if you're hoping to save between now and Christmas. If at all possible do your best to keep something by even if it's only a couple of pounds a week, owts better than nowt. Try to put Birthday/Christmas money away if possible, it does add up. For more long term means of earning bits, then look to surveys such as www.yougov.com (the uk part) or there's www.valuedopinions.co.uk or www.volunteer4panels.com. Each have different ways of paying out and personally I find YouGov very good. If I can think of any other ways I'll gladly let you know. All the best, Sue x

Having big problems with my blasted cursor again folks. Well done all, keep up the efforts when possible! LC I'm doing my very best, I promise!!! Have a great week all.
