I'm sure I made a post in this thread before but now I can't see it anywhere! I'm trying to start saving up my loose change. I'm not sure if I'm gonna use it it shift some (thankfully 0% at the moment) debts before the interest rate rockets or if I'll decide on a nice treat. I've been saving coins a while now, just chucking in the whole contents of my purse at the end of the week. Decided to seal my pot and stop thieving out of it!!

I'm working the late shift this week, spent the day with my DW . By all means count your £2 coins in with your total. Sue has been asking Fermi to put us back on the main board, because we encourage people to save, rather than us be a diary :rolleyes:, good news on the £10 win, we haven't had anything for ages :mad:

I just put a few 1p, 5p and a 10p in my pot. In a feat of willpowere I am experimenting with unsealed :eek: watch this space

The blinging gold piggie that I made for OH is putting on weight nicely too so I am attempting to persuade him that his piggie should all be about treating me!

Ooooh I've gone a bit OCD about my sealed pots. I've managed to find some of those empty sealed cans that someone gave me once in my attic. Some of them even have a couple of mystery coins in them to get started.

Putting money into them makes me feel a bit anti-MSE though. I wish I could have interest on my can contents!

Hi everyone, good to see the saving continuing, especially as time's creeping up now!:j £5.10 in the pot today!!!

Oh dear shorelines (you sounded like an AA victim!) and oh dear Puzzled.....:rolleyes2 However, never mind girls because at least taking some from your pots stopped you from borrowing or owt like that. :T So, be thankful and keep on saving from here on and do the best you can for what you're saving for.

Laura, you save whatever you want to. Silver, copper, notes, vouchers, cheques... it all has a place when it comes to totting it all up later on!

scuba, keep a look out for a tall copper and another shifty looking character, anyone matching those 2 HAS to be Stunty & sparky!!! :eek:Get 'em booked and sent back to their own patch!! :j

So pleased you had such a great time at your friends 60th Birthday sparky! I know a joke about a black man swinging from chandeliers, best not say it here!:o No Mr M's here, so no animal boxes I'm still 'working' on things and hopeful.....:rolleyes:

Good to "see you", hope evrything is well in your part of the country, it's gone a bit chilly here in "The Pool". Got just over an hour to go, then I'm off home to have a large glass of Italian falling down water .
