well, ive just put my first lot of 'old style' laundry in
:money:
its a half load- i put in half a fairy tablet, 2 dessertspoons of soda crystals, and a splash of white vinegar...
fingers crossed
ps- i know half loads aren't very moneysaving:oI don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

LOL TM, I didn't know you got a choice? I'll just be glad to have two again, especially two of the same size, this implant thing is okay but with hormonal changes (girls you know what I mean) one week they can be reasonably the same size and the next week I have one mountain and one molehill
The day is going very well here, it is beautiful weather and I have gone out and weeded my veggies and thinned out the beetroot, I didn't thin them last year and I think that is where I went wrong, everything is watered and I have removed the undergrowth from my hip bath planter and put 12 strawberries in there and netted over to protect them from the cats. I think my fencing off the veggies has worked, 2 days later and there is no cat poo on my garden and nothing looks disturbed.
The WM is just about to finish so I will get that on the line and then have a quick tidy up. Then sit down and do next weeks meal plan. There is a lot more to do but only one of me and I can't do everything in one goOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

Well done! Reminded me to add soda crystals to my shopping list too - was going great guns with them, then dog decided to try and eat them and took bag into the garden and emptied it everywhere!

Good morning everyone - just!
Started out really sunny here today, but getting a bit cloudy now! Was pleased that I was able to turn the heating back off though!
Woke up really early this morning, evening though I was working yesterday evening, and made 2 lasagnes, did 2 lots of washing, hoovered, mopped and cleaned, ironed some shirts and did breakfast and packed lunches, all before 8.30am - why can't I be that organised every day?
Meant to be doing some work for dh on pooter, but keep getting distracted! Still need to finish clearing out ds's room so that we can put up new bed, dh thought I might have done it all by myself yesterday - hmmm!
Working tonight, and then that's it for this week, great!
B - fried egg and sausage sarnies all round - except dh who is still being healthy and had porridge!
L - still bbq leftovers!
D - lasagne for everyone else, veggie sausages for me!
P-P and Rzl - hope that you enjoy your tea, and hope that your haircut is successful Rzl.
Briefly saw someone had started a thread about an article in yesterday's Daily Mail about feeding a family of 4 for £4 a day, so had a quick look at it at work - think that P-P could show them a thing or two, and her menu's are much tastier looking, not to mention filling! Off to hunt for thread now and see what others thought about it!GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -

Hi Yall, a bright and sunny day here in the emids. The field opposite our house is covered in daisys and buttercups and the May flower is starting to fill the hedgerow so it all looks quite spring-like:j
Miss MATHLETT broke her arm in two places last week so I spent 18 uncomfortable hours reading old tatty issues of OK magazine while the NHS slowly got around to putting a plaster on it (yes I really did have to wait that long). The upside is following all that reading I am now the world expert on the marrital goings on of Jordan and Peter and the giddy-goat antics of Jade Goody. I've also gleaned how to disguise a heavy bust with clever accesories at the neckline and the secrets of perfect pastry (I knew the last one anyway LOL) Miss MATHLETT was so brave and much more patient than I was LOL. Just to make sure we are getting our taxes worth MIL is currently recovering from a very long op for mouth cancer so we are back and forth visiting her and FIL is waiting to see if he has really broken his hip so not much OS going on at chez MATH we are all far too busy being creaking gates :rotfl:
Mrs MATH has a second interview next week for a job:j TBH a year ago she wouldn't have even considered applying for it. She could do it standing on her head and it's a third of the salary she was one but beggars can't be choosers and we've dropped a few rungs since then. How long before the MATHLETTS put a tender in for resurfacing TM's private road? LOL
The diets back on with avengance after a few trips to the coast. My weight stats on my sig are now pure fiction but I can't bear to change them. Is it true colories don't count if you eat them with the fridge door still open?
I recently got paid for some work in Boots vouchers so I squandered them yesterday on all the toileteries we regularly use. Buying BOGOF and with an extra 1/3 off I managed to get almost a years worth of gloop! 40 tubes of toothpaste on bogof was the first thing in the basket LOL. I think the checkout girl was a bit nonplussed as to why a bald guy was buying 20 bottles of shampoo and 10 bottles of conditioner by the time she got to the 30 shower gels and the extra 30 free ones via a packet of low-fat crisps and three bottles of TCP (well a boys gotta have lunch hehehe) she probably had me down as a complete nutter.
Aussie congrats on your new home
Bargain Good luck with the barnet
PP If someone comes up your drive looking like they've lost a fight with a strimmer back away from the windows and pretend you're not in LOL Hope you two girlies have a nice cuppa/chat
Big hugs to all who are tired/fed up/skint/hungry...just me then LOL you lot are soooo in denial:rotfl:

Afternoon all
2 little ones here today - both currently flaked out in bed after a busy morning painting, digging in the sandpit and climbing. Was lovely in the garden but had to bring them inside at 11am as the sun was just too strong....(can't belive I'm saying that after snuggling up with my electric blanket last night)
Brekkie - Toasted HM rolls
Lunch - Wraps for everyone - not sure what I fancy yet
Tea - Chicken pie (if I get chance to make it) with wedges and veg.
Anyone heard from Math lately? Hope all's well in mathland.....(I click on submit and see Maths just posted -- how strange)
