Morning all.
Pay day's just been 5 days ago and I'm already looking forward to the next one.
Looking forward to the time when my debts are in UK only and I can update as I go along and pay bit of every month. It's just bit demoralising that I have almost a thousand sitting in the bank waiting to be paid off the s.loan, but no point cos otherwise I pay twice for the transfer fee...
Feeling quite run down atm, really difficult to get up in the mornings. Thinking about having Thursday off so can get ready for Friday and weekend. Friday night it's friends wedding party (she got married in Mauritius) and Sunday we're off to a match again.
I am a bit similar about our loan money. I am unsure whether to ring and overpay when I get bits of money in, or whether I should just try and pay a lump sum???
You should defo take Fri off if you are feeling run down, esp if you have the holidays for it!
I spent a fortune at the weekend. Need to get OH to claim back his relocation quick smart. I reckon it is all spent nowIt went very quickly. Still, at least we will have £900 of our deposit back in Feb from the place we just left. That will be a nice bonus for the baby!

Depends, in my case there's no point cos it'll work more expensive, but it might work better for you just to pay bits off as you get it. Depends what the loan interest is and if you get good interest on your savings?DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

I also don't like big goodbyes. I would sneak away if I could!
CAFC- just buying things like a vase and duvet cover, some wine glasses etc. The place is furnished, so we don't need anything massive but we promised that as OH had been at uni for the last 2 years that we would buy good stuff that will last, as the cheap stuff always breaks! We got everything in the sales so not too bad!
How are you?
feeling sick....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Sick as in poorly? Just take it easy today.
Just enquired about having Thursday off, it's fine, but haven't decided yet. Line manager is off on Friday so can't take that one off, but I could get everything ready on Thursday.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
Oh no, I just had an email about winning theatre tickets for tomorrow night in Cardiff, but am supposed to go to workmates birthday party with people I work with. They are just having a night in with nibbles and stuff...Don't know what to do...DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0

Yuck to feeling sick CAFC
Tir - what would you prefer to do? If this person is a nice workmate then I would go to that, as you have committed to it. If they are just an aquaintance I would say that your OH bought you tickets as a surprise. They won't know you won them!

Was just trying to make effort to do something with the girls in nearby offices (they used to all be same service area and know each other). I'm not particularly friends with them and not that fussed. See if my bf wants to go to see the show anyway, and he's busy at work atm.
Good idea about saying bf bought the tickets, but not sure if that would fly, surely he would've mentioned it to me when I told him about the birthday party on Monday...DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

Maybe a girls night in would be just what you need though! I love a good girly night, esp if they are nice girls! I have just moved to a new area and work from home, so am going to have to put in a similar effort to get to know people. It usually pays though, as you could end with some really nice friends! Maybe your BF could go to the theatre with a friend of his?Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Hmmm, I have another idea. I'll go to the theatre (not far from work) and ask if I could change the tickets for a Thursday night, it's still not Friday or Saturday night, so might be ok. Worth a go anyway.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0
