Phew - I have been a busy lass.
I have done the washing up, cleaned the kitchen (albeit superficially), hung up the mountains of clean washing I had hanging around, done a whites wash and hung it up to dry and made myself some lovely freshly ground coffee (yum)
All I need to do before I can head over to OH's is give the bathroom a quick wipe over and have a shower, and all this before 3 on a Saturday. Where are the rest of you?? I hope you are all off having lovely times/debtbusting (and not cleaning as that is bleurgh)£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Morning all!
So doodledo, everything still going great with your man?
We went for a nice, relaxed, short walk with bf on Saturday and then had a birthday meal to attend to, which was very nice. I had to leave after dinner as had a match day on Sunday. Won one, lost one.
Classical concert on Friday night was very nice as well, really enjoyed Tchaikovsky's Symphony no 6, Berlioz's Roman Carnival Overture was ok as well, but wasn't that fussed about most of Grieg's Piano concerto.
Life seems to be very hectic atm. Seem to get bogged down with every day life and not having time to make the improvements needed to make life better in the long run. Well, I'm sure the time will come.
PAID - yes, makes perfect sense. Just like to cheer myself up everytime I make a payment, though if you look back, you realise most of your money's gone for paying interest and not servicing your debt.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

Sounds like a lovely weekend Tirlittan.
Mine was hectic with the move on Sat and then went to the baby show at Earl's Court yesterday. Got our pram and other bits and pieces (mostly essentials). We saved about £100 overall so it was defo worth it, and I love the pram!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Oh, excellent CMD!! Didn't realise you were moving this weekend..so busy...that's my excuse anyway.:o
Glad you managed to save loads of money as well. I'd imagine all the baby stuff is a huge outlay for the first one.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
Yeah, there is lots to get and think of that's for sure! My parents are buying the pram so that is the major expense out of the way. We also bought some reusable baby wipes/cloths and we are seriously thinking of using cloth nappies from when the baby is about 2 weeks old, as it is better for the environment and OH said he would deal with the washing of them. He is very eco-friendly. It is supposed to be good against the prevention of rashes as well. I would use disposable ones at first though, as I don't want the added pressure at the start!
