hi cmd sorry you had a pants day - glad it got sorted in the end

    tirl - £160 - can't be bad

Good news for me today on the money front. Did 3 hours in my new job yesterday - and it won't count against me on the jsa front as I don't get paid for at least a month! I checked with them today so woohoo!

Also - overpaid on the water bill - they owe us money so our bill is dropping from £62 to less than £17 - so pleased about that!

Had hair done today as well!

    Morning all!

Excellent news re: water bill SavingH. :T

Got about £67 back pay, not much, but should mean £10 extra a month, which is better than nothing.

This month is going to be quite tight though as have a birthday party tomorrow night and going for a meal.Fortunately have a match on Sunday so can't stay out late nor drink much either, and with a good excuse. :)
Then there's my friends wedding party, they got married in Mauritius. And then it's my gran's 75th, so got to get a nice pressie for her and maybe call her.

Looking forward to the weekend. Been really tired this week, but I think that's because I haven't done much exercise nor been out in the fresh air.

Paid £25 off Virgin CC though minimum payments only start going from next month, I think. Will be more difficult to update sig now as it's not 0% anymore...

I'm getting closer and closer to having paid £5k off debts but almost £100 still to go...

  • Hi tirl

I just keep a running total of my total debt (but not the interest free new debt that is my holidays as I ignore both the debt and the payments for my siggy) and that means I automatically deduct the interest from my payments as I don't count the payments as such, just the amount that has come off the debt. As you pay after your statement is calculated (and therefore interest calcuated) that makes it all work.

    Does that make any sense???

Am a bit tired today as only got in at 3am!!!! I was at a friend's house for dinner and we say up drinking and nattering with her housemates until the wee small hours. If I make no sense, that is my excuse.
