I'm just feeling that the way I'm trying to go is not sustainable for the next 2 years and as much as I'd like to get the debt paid sooner rather than later, I'm in my early thirties and need to have a life and enjoy myself, otherwise there's not much point is there? I'll still need to have a look how to make best out of the situation.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0

Morning all!
How's everyone on this very fine day? Cold and sunny and lovely!
I'm having a half a day today, finally going shopping for some desperately needed items like new works shoes (old ones literally falling apart), maybe some underwear and a new top. The new John Lewis is opening today in Cardiff, but hate crowds so unlikely to go in today.
Doodle - I work for the council doing office work. I did textile design in uni, but never got into it. Have worked as an assistant restaurant manager (would never go back in that line of work) and with horses. Not much experience of anything else. I think really my only choice is re-education, but that costs and I don't have money for it, for obvious reasons...:o
Going to Exeter this weekend to meet up with my uni friends, haven't seen them for about a year. Looking forward to it.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
Hi all,
Got some very sad news this morning. My cousin went into labour last night and her little boy died. She was only 22 weeks (3 weeks ahead of me). I was meant to be meeting her this weekend to compare bumps but that obviously isn't going to happen now.
Please say a prayer for her if you get a chance.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Thanks Tirlittan,
It is terrible, especially as I arrived in Ireland last night and was meant to meet up with her.
We are still waiting to hear what has happened. I just feel so upset for her, as the bond you build with the baby is so strong when you see them on the scan and feel them kicking.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
