Hi. I borrowed £30 of OH at the weekend at the car boot sale to buy a pushchair, I told him I would pay him back £1 a week, he looked at me and said 'yeah right' - LOL!

Thanks for the best wishes and the advice. I'm fine now. Thinking of looking for a self-defence class though (I mean practical techniques, not karate or anything!).

When my OH was working I used to pocket the notes and change I found in his jeans when I was doing the washing! Ha ha!

I told him when he starts this new job I shall be re-commencing this. He just laughed!

My OH puts all his change in his draw up in the bedroom, for about a week every so often DD2 would come to me in my office with money to put in my sealed pot, then one day I asked her where she was getting all this money from and she said she'd show me, so we went upstairs and she was taking it out of his draw to put in my sealed pot as she loves doing it. Now when she come to me with money or I see she has money I let her put it my pot - he shouldn't leave it where she can get it!!!!

there's 2 lessons there. one for your OH - don't leave money where other people can find it (and pilfer it)

and a good one for your DD about the value of saving.

My OH just had his launch gig tonight so was at that. They are really good so glad he is able to stay in the band.
