hope everyone is okay here. although maybe i should stay away from this thread for the next couple of days. DD has chicken pox and i wouldn't want to pass it on to any of you pregnant ladies on here :D

she's feeling quite sorry for herself bless her. i rang the nursery to let them know and they said "yeah we've got a few off with it" i was like "thanks for the warning" DH has never had it and he's supposed to be starting his new job on monday so he's a bit worried.

well done Tirl on the milestone

Starnac - hope your little one doesn't suffer too much - and that your OH doesn't catch it. Hope his first day goes well too!

Hi everyone else especially TMD nice to see you posting again.

It is half term week here so busy with the kids. I am still off sick with my knee. Problem is I hate my job too so very little motivation to return - and given how much pain I am still in - not sure I could do this or any other job at the mo. It is very frustrating - as I am now also paying for physio -which I can't really afford either! I want to get better as that would at least give me more options...

I feel a right grumpy mare tonight so can't sleep which isn't good either!!!

DD is much better today. you wouldn't think there was anything wrong with her.

i'm just waiting for payday which is next friday. i plan to get a c/c paid off in full then we start saving properly for a house. i really miss my own space.

  • Morning all!

Am officially 1 day overdue and my friend and my cousin both had babies in the middle of the night! Went to the cinema and the pub last night to see if things would start moving but alas baby is very comfy in there.

    Hope everyone is well :)

I had Braxton Hicks last week but not a bean since. My cousin had a baby this morning at 5am. She went into the hospital with some pain and was 9cm dilated. She had the baby an hour later. I like the sound of that :)

Yeah, first baby!!! She was at her sisters house having a curry last night, left after midnight (with no pains) and had the baby by 5am. It's very impressive. Apparently my uncle said they only went to the hospital as a precaution as she wasn't in a lot of pain. I would love a labour like that!
