Good luck for moving, hopefully they will ring you tomorrow morning to confirm or not. At least you will soon be there and can get settled in, I'm sure it will all work out OK. We moved when I was 34 weeks pregnant with DD2, we got the guy in the flat upstairs to move us as he had a van and he got someone to help him plus my OH, I didn't do much but when we got the OK to pick the keys up I had to take DD1 and the dog in the car to pick up the keys, it was a sweltering hot day, then the 3 of us had to sit in the house on the stairs and wait for OH and the van to unload the first lot.
I'm glad we are not moving again any time soon as we have so much junk it's unbelievable, our Annex is full of stuff that needs sorting out again, will have to do a car boot sale in April/May to get rid of it all.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
Hi all,
I am still here - not even a twinge!
Myself and OH have nested for most of the day giving the flat a really good deep clean. We have also ordered some last minute bits and pieces for the baby and also some stuff to help us get the flat in order (filing cabinet etc). We seem to be spending so much money at the moment but it is on essentials. I suppose the good thing is that when the little one does come along we won't be spending much as we won't be going anywhere and everything will have been gotten.
Good luck with the move CAFC. I mobed to Reading at around the same stage as you. It was stressful but great when we finally moved inTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Hi CMD
Glad you are having a nice day, you must be getting so excited now.
We are off to my parents tomorrow lunch time so am not going to worry about money too much until I get back then I really need to crack on, hopefully my Asda credit card will be here by then so I can do some transfers and reduce some of the higher APR cards, I don't mind having under £1k on a few cards.
Good luck with the baby if you go into labour before I'm back on 21st.

I am looking forward to it, but I'm not as well, I'm looking forward to having a rest, having my dinners cooked for me, having my parents to help out with the kids, my dad is a big kid himself and he loves to make them laugh.
I shall miss being able to come on the computer whenever I want, I have my laptop and I do have a dongle thing but haven't used the top up for a while so not sure how to check if I can still use it, don't want to add £10 and it not work, maybe I'll go to Sainsburys tomorrow and see if I can add some money so I can use my laptop in the evenings when everyone is in bed. My dad has a computer but it's up in their loft and they have one of those pull down ladders but it's too noisy to use it at night and his computer is really slow.
It's my birthday next Saturday too so am glad I shall be away, my parents will celebrate my birthday better than my OH would do as he is working both days next weekend so it would have meant me being in with kids on my own all day. To be honest, I'm looking forward to having a break from him.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
