Thanks SavingH! I'm so tired and can't wait to get home tonight. Think all my flatmates are going today/tomorrow to their families etc. I'm planning to go straight to bed for a bit when I get home and just chill and read. I do have things to do, but they can wait till bit later. Tomorrow I'll go to BF's. I think we only need few bits and bobs of food, otherwise he did shopping yesterday so pretty sorted.

Well done on minus 10K Tirlittan. That is a fantastic achievement. Can't wait to get there myself! It must be so motivating to get rid of double figures :)

Still feeling rubbish, have a bad cold and terrible heartburn/acid reflux. Think I could deal with the heartburn if the cold was gone. Thankfully I am allowed Gaviscon and paracetemol.

I just wanted to say Happy Xmas and thanks also to everyone for their support on this thread this year.

    Hello ladies!

Hope everyone had a lovely Xmas. Mine was very nice and relaxed, just me and bf at his. His cooker was kaput, so no roast. Chrismas eve we had pheasant and on Christmas day venison, so was very nice. And when we got to his parents on Boxing day, we got more than enough beef and ham so don't feel like I missed out at all.

Because of my dad being here just before Xmas, I'm totally skint now even though I didn't spend much money on Xmas presents. I have hardly any money till pay day, 15th and we still have New Year's celebrations to go...I owe some money to bf for Xmas food, but might have to ask to pay it in two halfs, things really are that bad. Shan't be eating much until pay day...

    HI everyone

Our xmas has been quite relaxing - been out twice. The kids were very happy with xmas presents and others seemed to be too. Now need to try and get house in order - OH has gone to tip as we speak but plenty more to do! Have inlaws coming over at weekend!

Debt busting wise - I should get paid tomorrow which will help but a week late so the problem is I daren't do overpayments much as I have to leave some slack in case they pay late again. Think will start submitting weekly invoices - hopefully that will help me with my cash flow! The money is really poor by my standards where I am and I really need to get a different job - so that should be top priority - can't think straight with the house bulging with all the new stuff the kids etc were given tho - so right now need to find homes for things!

  • Hi Everyone, hope you all had a great Xmas and have an even better New Year. I can't wait for January 1st as that is when I am going to work out my total debt and start seriously getting out of debt.

    Morning.

Glad everyone had a good Christmas.

I still have my cold, been about 2 weeks now. :(:(:( Feeling very sorry for myself. It's just really draining my energy, but it's not really bad enough not to come to work. Though I think a day (or two) in bed would do a world of good. There's only one other person in office today and she's not same service area, but see how I feel tomorrow and I might just call in sick.

Started my very first diary here yesterday. Not expecting much interest, but it is for me mainly, to keep tag on things etc. (shamelessly publisizing it so at least one person will go and write something so I don't feel so 'lonely'...)

Good idea- as I rarely look at the main page now - just check out subscriptions in my usercp instead! I will go and look now. You may want to post a link in here to make it easier too!
