thanks CMD. didn't think anyone would have noticed. i've been on a bit of a downer and didn't want to be bringing anyone else down with me when everyone is doing so well. so i stayed away for a while.

hope your cold is better. maybe get to the doctors if it doesn't clear soon. DD had a cough that wouldnt go and when we took her to the doctors it turned out it was an ear infection that was making her cough. antibiotics later and she's fine.

good luck on getting below the £11k mark.

Hope your feeling better now. We are always here if you need to chat through anything. We have all had down days on this thread and others are great for making us feel better :)

Did your DD have a lovely Xmas? It must have been exciting!

she loved it. she's just turned 2 so was too young to get excited and not sleep cso she didn't really know what was coming, but she was old enough to be so excited once she had seen her presents. she took ages opening them all though. we've only just finished. she would open one, play with the toy til she got bored then open another one, play with that. it was so lovely. best christmas since she's been born.

i am feeling a bit better. i've just felt like i'm not getting anywhere, that my life is on hold, i'm trying to do too much....you know the usual.

how's bump coming on?? bet you're excited now

Aw, that sounds lovely. Can't wait for that with my baby. The bump is coming along grand. It is very much just the bump so I am not feeling too big at the moment. Everyone was saying how neat I am which is nice. Am becoming very excited and nervous at rhe same time.

Re: getting places. Try to take it bit by bit. You have already done brilliantly with the debt busting so you know it can be done. It just takes time.

it's good to be both excited and nervous. i wasn't that big til i went overdue then i seemed to pile on the weight!

my DD was only 2 months old on her first christmas so spend a lot of it asleep! at least your baby will be that little bit older to enjoy his/her first christmas.

i know it takes time but i'd imagined my life a lot different than it is now and i'm struggling to accept the fact that it'll be at least another year before i can get back on track. i'm getting there now though

Ooh that's a firm bump already! I must take a photo and post it up tomorrow!

Starnac- it is hard. I bought a flat at 26 and if someone told me I would be having a child and renting again at 33 I would have laughed. The flat is gorgeous but it isn't ours :(

told you.... am cooking up a right turkey in there...

He's got all mod cons and everything in there, central heating, all inclusive, expensive shower goodies (admittedly a xmas present from DH to help me avoid unsightly stretch marks).....
