Just wishing I'd done the 8hours or so of work I intended to do over the weekend rather than only doing 3 and then lazing around watching drivel on tv :rolleyes:

Afternoon all...I have been pheasant dodging today:eek: I decided to see if I could remember the route to Studley Castle and all went without a hitch until the approach to the hotel when a pheasant decided to strut his stuff across the road, so I stopped to let it cross:rolleyes: Then I got to thinking that if I had hit it would I have had the nerve to wring its neck, sling it in the boot of my car and drive up to the hotel with it and deliver it to the chef:eek: Not content with wandering across the road, the flippin' thing had gathered its family together to make another trek back and I had to swerve to avoid them this time:mad: Decided against going onto Pershore and came home.

In fact you could have plucked it, drawn it and shoved it in the freezer - Christmas dinner sorted!

I dont like game birds Nargle - they taste a bit too gamey for me:rolleyes: Anyway don't pheasants have to be hung for several weeks until the maggots start acrawling:eek:

Need to find a large hamper or large wicker basket. Have booked a hotel on room only basis for one night only (thank goodness for business expenses - I shall make damn sure I use their facilities to make up for the cost:eek:) - all this for a breakfast meeting on 5 November as I loathe driving in the dark:rolleyes: Still I managed to score a meeting at the same hotel but on 9 November - at least I will be able to judge the standards by the quality of the room and my overnight stay.
