How come we can only see the last 300threads someone posted through their user profile? Was this part of the last forum change 'thing'? I thought that was only affecting subscriptions?

I was going to search back for my first posts - I'm pretty sure I just barged in and started bumping very early on -in fact I lurked on this thread and may have only joined MSE so I could join in!:o:cool:

I think that newbies look - and maybe they're wondering what a bunch of loonies are doing bumping the thread, talking a load of nonsense, making sense sometimes and generally having a whale of a time are doing?

Even ol'timers like me (less of the old..and less sniggering in the back row Numpty:p) get upset by trolls occasionally:rolleyes:

We need these threads as `profile` to ensure that everyone knows that `troll` behaviour will not be tolerated........as soon as a `regular` see`s any dubious activity we BUMP to raise awareness.

I know its mostly the regulars that BUMP this thread but over on BR board there are many newbies that `get` what its about very quickly (so it must be read) & look out for each other as a result. DFW is a faster moving board but keeping the message on page one seems to work just as well IMO.

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.
