    Hello All

If strangers knock on my door I answer by asking them if they are selling god or electricity. Then tell them I want neither and shut the door. And if they try to push leaflets through the letterbox they are likely to get a nip from the dog.

I still have the bathroom clock and a watch on GMT, didn't bother to change them in Spring!:o

Well I have to say the weetabix brownies were not a success - surprisingly they tasted of weetabix (who'd have thought hey ) but I don't like weetabix. I'm afraid they have been binned (even the ducks and geese weren't interested).

Today I have been shopping to the local outlet village and have 2 new pairs of boots for work, a non-work pair of boots, a new top for work and 2 jumpers a christmas present and a pair of earrings - all at outlet prices:j. I also have a bad back from carting it all round

That bump ^^ reminds me of space hoppers.

I've added comments on a couple of them - will check back in a bit once I've had tea (yummy homemade pizza tonight).

Big Bang theory - great idea, Horace!!! Now where could we get a big big Bang?

Lula ... if you could get your neighbours to slam the door much much harder - I think we have a solution to your unwanted visitors, without you having to say a word, huh?

In case you didnt know MF the Big Bang Theory has nothing to do with fireworks more to do with the creation of the planets and earth in particular, when you have finished with the amoeba and moved onto dinosaurs..their eyes start to glaze and they just don't have an argument for that:rotfl: I can spout at length and every so often I ask if they are still following and more importantly if they are in agreement:rotfl:

    Hi everybody.

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

    Kind wishes
    P
