Morning all...I had a lie in this morning - I was rudely awoken by the bugle player who lives in one of the houses across the way:eek: but the sound of his bugle made me drift back to sleep:D

I might have an NSD today as its raining and I don't want to walk to the shop for a paper and get wet:rolleyes:

Ahoy me hearties,

struggling to maintain good humour here today

1 - neighbours babies awoke & cried for at least half an hour at 6.30 am

2 - received a text at 7am

3 - at 8am neighbours have row & one storms out of house slamming door with such force that my bed shakes

4 - at 10.30 for the 3rd week in a row I am disturbed by yet another member of the local religious group. I really dislike this group, their faith in direct oppostion to mine, ie I am a regular blood donor & dont harass my community by preaching my beliefs at their front doors. Although it is Hallowe'en next week ...

5 - I have to fit a bike into my car this afternoon & cant find the spanner to remove front wheel

6 - Cat refuses to wipe paws on the doormat before coming in

Do what I do Lula and refer them to the bible where Jesus says that pushing your religion onto others is a sin. If I am feeling particularly mischievious then I will discuss the big bang theory as that tends to throw them too and start making excuses to leave:rotfl: They get everywhere - when I was in Alicante sitting on a bench minding my own business (before the hoodlums appeared), I was approached by two who started preaching at me in Spanish..I said that I was English and then I was handed one of their leaflets in English so I stressed that I wasnt interested as I was a pagan..then I saw them visit every single bench on the square and then watched with glee as they approached an ancient crone dressed in black widow weeds who started waving her rosary at them and I feel sure that she was cursing them:rotfl:

I had a friend whose mother shared the particular views of this same religious sect and she used to preach at me about how at the turn of the millenium then we would have armageddon and only the chosen few would remain - so when I bumped into her again I reminded her that armageddon meant that there wouldnt be anyone left and asked her if she was disappointed to still be here:rotfl: God, I can be wicked when I want to be:eek:

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.
