    Nargle, love the sound of fruit crumble and custard...... oh, it was for the chickens....

    I'm really hoping this ends soon, getting fed up putting hiking books, coat, hat and scarf on to empty the bins and feed the birds...

    No luck with the boiler being fixed. But I do have the elec fire on (which is almost finished being dusty and I now have a new oil filled radiator (cheap one for £19.99 from B&M Bargains), so I'm suppose I can cope overnight.

    Shall probably sleep in the living room though, wish I'd bought a hot water bottle last week when I saw them in the shop :rolleyes: - if all else fails I'll cuddle up to the dog!

    In the meantime the front door also broke and wouldn't lock!:rolleyes: However as dad was already here he's taken off the lowest lock mechanism (upvc door) and it now does lock. I think I'm unlikely to get anyone trying to kick the door down this week down this quite street but if I do they'll probably succeed!

    Already starting to think about what warm food to have for tea. Hope everyone else is well.
