Swinstie, I went up the CN tower when I was about 14 - well, me and my dad went, mum and bro were too chicken! Saying that, my dad was petrified and didn't want to go outside, and when I jumped up and down on the glass floor he looked like he was going to gip :rotfl::D

I also went up when I was 14, but it was when the glass floor was tiny i.e. about 2 or 3 random bits, god I'm showing my age :rotfl::rotfl:

Hope you and BF have made up Monkey! I hate fighting but usually it's me who is the grump, OH is easy going and just looks at me as if I'm daft!

Think they have pink cameras in Argos Princess, I was going to get one but mines actually still works, I just wanted a pink one. Good luck with the meet. Does anyone else get random people friend inviting on Facebook? I got one from someone cos we went to the same school, like 5 years apart, didn't know her AT ALL! Strange! Still not sure all the real names from on here, working it out slowly! Monkey are you RT?!? :D

Anyway roll on the weekend, taking OH for dinner on Saturday for his birthday, booked online and got an email confirming FROM MYSELF i.e. someone with the same name - freaky!

I'm babbling now, will go and let someone else speak xx

Sorry you had a bad weekend :(
If you absolutely have to have a new camera don't waste £200 on one- this samsung one at argos is quite good spec and reasonably priced.... also comes in pink :)

As expected- nobody listens to me! Sob!
    Only kidding.. :D
I posted this the day you told us you lost it.
I quite fancy one myself.. but not in pink. I don't really 'do' pink myself :D

Was watching Dispatches the other night about a load of middle-class execs who are out of work - and seriously, the way they looked when they went for an interview..they would have had to do some VERY sweet talking to have got the job from me. Unshaven, tired looking (the men of course), and the lady - she had paid to have a manicure - but didn't seem to have brushed her hair.

Dammit - I was hoping I might get away without shaving my beard

Thanks guys for your advice. Sorry it seems like a silly thing to be concerned about. I still haven't decided, will have to try some outfits on at the weekend and see what looks best. You wouldn't believe that I actually already work in an office and am supposed to look smart everyday :o

    This is what I found:
Yep- totally from scratch. Flour+yeast+pinch of salt+ warm water= pizza base. Totally easy. Must be- I can do it! :rotfl:

It's just gone in and it looks pretty good- even if I do say so myself :p

Actually- I cheated this time with the tomato sauce. I usually make that from scratch too but it takes ages so I cheated with some Dolmio Spicy tomato pasta sauce. Does the same job :D

Here is a 'quick easy recipe' http://allrecipes.co.uk/recipe/2122/quick-and-easy-pizza-dough.aspx
I never used sugar though... oh well
If you have a look at packet mixes near where the baking stuff + yeast is there is probably a pizza base mix. There usually about a quid for a box and makes about 4 bases and you just add water.

Use any old tomatoey pasta sauce for the pizza sauce. And you never need quite as much sauce as you think- or it goes soggy. A couple of tablespoons full spread over 1 base is usually about right.
