I've been inspired from reading your threads and would like to join in the September GC. Mine is £450 for September. Just had a shock when I've looked through the 'shopping' line on our joint account spreadsheet, so am going to keep a more detailed check on where/what we actually spend it on!0

Picked up a couple of aubergines on the way home from work, as I have planned moussaka & can’t do it justice without aubergines! And I also picked up some chicken livers for pate for my lunches; can only buy those in Mr S, so tend to get missed from the main shop in Mr T, but they only cost pennies.
So a tiny amount to add to the total today. But that really should be it for this month other than the fresh bits & bobs like milk & fruit. Well here’s hoping anyway!
Have taken meat & fish out of the freezer & put it in the fridge overnight (though my fridge is so cold it’ll all probably be solid still in the morning!) And have put some chickpeas to soak too, all ready for the planned batch cooking day tomorrow.0 -
