    Can I put down £150 for September, please? We are running a 5 week month. This budget is for groceries (organic animal produce), toiletries (including baby stuff), and household cleaning. Forgot to also mention this includes milk formula as not able to quite keep up with baby now so having to supplement :)

    Hi everyone

    Thanks to Pink-Winged, MrsM and Rosieben for the thread, totals and recipes.

    We have just done our first shop of the month and spent £92. It should of been £102 but got 2 vouchers for Lid!s so that reduced it by £10. We have enough Juice to last us till the end of the month and personal bits to see me through till November!!

    Good luck everyone

    Thanks for the shiny new thread Pink :)

    Welcome CRANKY40, its not compulsory to go on the list; I'm sure you'll find loads of ideas and encouragement here.

    I'm not declaring a budget for September as I spent loads more than planned last month; freezer and cupboards are comfortably full though and that makes me happy;

    I'm doing some baking this weekend so I shopped this morning just for fresh milk and no cakes or choc jumped into my basket! :A:D

    Hope everyone has a lovely BH weekend and good luck with your September budgets! :cool:
    ... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D

    My annual spend is now up to £1306.97.

    We've done alright this month, spending just over £100 but BF's Mum was with us for 10 days and bought bits and bobs and wouldn't let us pay. Had a shop today and got bits to last us for a week and spent £25, which included a lot of yellow stickered breads (got wholemeal baps, scones, seeded bagels and a fruit loaf). With what we have in the freezer and larder already, I'm hoping we will have a similarly thrifty month.
