You may have to chase this with Asda Jowster, the same thing happened to me with the Paypal pre-paid card and Ocado. Because the transaction wasn't completed the 'ghost' payment wasn't automatically released back onto the card, despite Ocado telling me they hadn't takne it in the first place:rolleyes: and had to be done manually. Took about 3 weeks in all to get back.

    I haven't used a pre-paid card since, not worth the hassle :D

  • I have now decided that - after the cash- is credited back I'm going to cancel my O2 Money Card. It's really becoming a pain trying to get someone to admit who is responsible for releasing this ghost payment and it's really not worth the hassle. The Cashplus Card looks good , but going to stick with my old Tuxedo Mastercard for now. Still think the pre-paid cards give me a bit of added security over my bank card when using online, on the thought that if there is no money on the card - only an amount as and when i need it - then no-one can use it for fraud if anyone does get hold of the details.
