We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will

I wondered about this too. They were one of my biggest creditors but if theres no credit check then it shouldn't be a prob:confused: should it?

At least i made one good move after BR...i went with O2.:T
The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(

Hi BLTN....hope you are Ok Honey !! Nice to see you :hello:

Well the reason I am a tad unsure is that (& I am sad for reading the T&Cs before anyone says it:rolleyes::rolleyes:) but on the O2 Money Information Sheet ( O2 website)

Section 4 / point 4 reads as follows - ( I was particularly unsure on the point where it says `recover debt` see near the bottom of the copied page.

    {QUOTE -
Please note that where "you" or "your" are used in clauses 4 and 5 below they have the same meaning as cardholder.

    4. Your information

well just read this of the 02 website and much to my dismay it does sound like this is a visa debit card ...

"You can use your card almost anywhere Visa is accepted. A few specific restrictions apply if you're using your card for reservations or deposits, for example in hotels, car rentals or pay-at-pump services at petrol stations. You won't be able to use your card for wire transfer money orders"

"real" visa cards are acceptable everywhere right? (well everywhere displaying visa sign :p)

the whole point of me wanting this was for those situations when my other visa debit card is not accepted!!

still seeing as Im Bankrupt and only have one current account, this will act nicely as a risk free backup should I lose the other card and will ease the card replacement time.

i do nead a "real" visa card that will work in situations where electron doesnt though at some point.

Can anyone recommend any of the prepaid ones out there, did I read that someone had 4 others? if so which would you recommend?

    cheers,

    Bman

I would have thought they could set off a debt if it is within their group.

This is the exact wording used on the PayPal top-up card which is treated as an Electron card - so not looking good imo.
