I would suggest you actually do some research as you do appear to be sonething of a f**kwit.
have you ever sold tickets on Ebay ( I wont resort to juvenile name calling ) ?0 -
Oh, I have sold tix on eBay, and they always went Special Delivery next day due to the fact that to some people they could be worth more than what the buyer gave for them. (If they're fans and couldn't get them, if you just send them bog standard 1st class, someone will do you the pleasure of nabbing them and leaving YOU out of pocket)** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **

I do it all because I'm scared.

As a silver PS with 99.9% on over 2000 and 4.8+ across the board I guess I know what I'm doing.
I don't think you will persuade him otherwise. Unfortunately we have read the ebay rules, some people choose not to and then say others are wrong..it is just one of those things.
Oh and yes I've sold tickets as well. In my case as I was time limited I did them as a BIN with immediate payment required and shipped out next day using special delivery, so everyone was happy.
It is a nice idea though that special rules apply to certain things, can I have some special rules please for my books? My wish list would be that they had to pay me within 3 days and they were not allowed to moan if the post took longer than two days to deliver them.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. have to take your word for that - although personally I tend to doubt it - as you must be aware the majority of people who buy tickets have very very little feedback or none at all and have just reg to Ebay to solely get festival tickets - so it means nothing to them to not buy YOUR tix when cheaper ones come up nearer the time ( maybe to near ! ) or BIN`S - so the longer you leave it the less they are worth ) maybe - its a volatile market )
- but then you allready know that dont you !?0 -
your wrong - it dosent work like that in ticket sales - no way can you wait 7 days - completely wrong:p
why is it completely wrong for an event thats more than 7 days away and for events that you havent got the tickets even yet! if it was 3 days time and you had to spend next day delivery then yes fair enough but when its well in the future theres no need to not wait 7 days, you could agree that you cant wait 7 days for any item.
Point to me in ebays t&cs where it states that there is an excemption for ticket sales.... no didnt think so!0 -

so say i buy your tickets for an event thats 3 weeks away and i wait 2 to 7 days to pay, the time im allowed to pay via ebay, what exactly are you going to do??? You could refund me and not send me the tickets ive won and paid for within the time im entitled to do so, but that would just get you a neg and NPS.
You cant force someone to pay within 24 hours, if you want immediate payment do buy it now with immediate payment.
angstdata at the end of the day this is a very pointless arguement..... that your never going to win.. so why are so many of us wasting our time on someone who obv doesnt know what theyre doing when they wont listen and take advice!!!0
