Angstdata, with your ticket business running through a private selling account this seems a rather odd thread?

Hardly a business Soolin - Reading / Bestival only held once a year !

and is the point still not valid - regardless of what I sell or dont sell ?

As pointed out before I don't know of anyone else on the forum ,who is willing to let all and sundry view their feedback ,items for sale etc. - certain members like to comment on other members tactics ( as I did in the original post ) but are unwilling
to let other members see theirs ( as I do )

    So there !

    !

Yes your point is still valid but it just struck me as odd that you feel you have an excuse to not register as a business yet the person you mention is actually correctly registered, despite his very odd comments to the contrary.

I also don't think the HMRC / ebay rules say that everyone who buys to sell has to register unless it is only half a dozen tickets once a year. Unfortunately there is no such exemption to registration either with HMRC or with ebay.

As soon as you buy to sell you become a business so you are, in fact, trading as a personal seller when you should be registered as a business.
