Money has been flying out of the cash machine at a scary rate and no idea where so we really need to get in this together.
Ebay parcel arrived today, still doing ok with it. Boss indicated decision on payrise is imminent and have had a very positive chat with them. After all the stress of those months ago work has improved 10 fold and have shelved plans to look elsewhere :j
Off to post office now, and then ironing the ebay pile (rolls eyes - please can we have the icons back!!!!)
Go IMD! :j
I'm sorry about your friend, but I'm glad that many other things sound as though they are going well in your life: imminent pay rise, talking things through with your OH (hope that went well ), and Ebaying.
Let us know how it all goes, and keep going - it sounds like you are doing really well! :beer:Please call me 'Pickle'

Wow what a day and a night I have had!
The payrise has given me a huge boost and OH was really upbeat about it.
Have come home and sat down with OH and my spreadsheet (I will get it to you soon IAP I promise!). Predictably he had a strop when he saw the figures in black and white, took him through all the income and expenditure, the monthly outgoings.
We now have a six year plan, we are going to go hell for leather and get everything paid off in 4 years. That means clearing approximately £20k a year, with my payrise I will be throwing £1300 a month at it so £15,600 per year anyhow, OH gets bonuses etc and he originally was going to use this for a car but we are now going to use it for debts. We need potentially an extra £370 a month to meet this target or bonuses of £4,400 but we are going to do it.
He has agreed to use the spreadsheet every day and update it with money he spends and I will do the same, We can kick each other's bottoms as and when required.
There will be no new holiday or car this year as we cannot afford it.
By 2016 we have a figure in mind that we want to have in savings as we need to think about our kids' futures and we ARE going to sort it. Half of my payrise will go towards our general day to day living and the other half to our debts as we want to still have a quality of life and we have decided to tackle the small loan first which is approx £1800 just as a milestone for something to pay off.
He is going to tell me off if I leave the house without a packed lunch and we are going to cut every corner possible.
Although he has always known the debt is there, he hasn't seen it in black and white and that has made a difference, seeing how much we are paying out every month to something.
So it has been a long time coming, I have been very very worried about it, but I have finally sorted it and OH is very very upbeat about it and positive for the future. Normally he dwells but I think he has finally accepted some responsibility for what has happened.
So, onwards and upwards!!!!!!! :j:j:j1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j

Oh well done, IMD! That's brilliant! :j
I'm glad to hear that you are both singing from the same spreadsheet, so to speak: I think it will make life a lot easier for both of you, and ensure that you remain motivated in getting it sorted.
The spreadsheet will be appreciated, whenever you can get it to me (don't worry - I know that time is limited!)
Am GUTTED as have manage to kill both my external hard drive and a sort of self-constructed external hard drive this week and now need to replace one (like I have the money for that!). Technology hates me!
Sorry to whinge on your thread, but I need to do it somewhere and you seem to be the only one awake! Please call me 'Pickle'
