Hey there IMD's... just thought I'd say hello. Been reading your diary and thought it a bit rude not to introduce myself. I'm languishing back around mid-September some-where though. Hopefully I can fix my imaginary time-machine with free invisible parts very quickly and catch up with you in February 2010 before you all hit March and beyond. :)

    Hope you're ok Hun - you're a bit quiet.......x
  • Thank you for noticing my absence :D As I just posted on Macgirl's diary I've just had to reduce amount of time spent on here in the evening as both me and OH were spending copious amounts of time with our heards in the laptops and just not speaking! The only thing is that if I'm not on here I slip financially so must keep a good balance. Also moved offices at work so frantic.

Bad time of year for me too, would have been my best friend's birthday who died 18 months ago - still very raw and very sad and I find it easier to be alone with my sad thoughts. Been to the grave today and had a few tears, sometimes think about going to see a medium as I just want to know "she got there and is ok", does that make sense (shrugging shoulders icon) - last time I saw her to say goodbye she was in so much pain and that image never leaves me, want to know that she's ok now. She was amazing and I loved her to bits, only person who can make me belly laugh, lots of lovely memories :D

Me and OH have got the sit down and look at the financial spreadsheet tonight, slightly scared for the simple reason I don't want a row about it, but he wants to share it with me and so this means all of it! Money has been flying out of the cash machine at a scary rate and no idea where so we really need to get in this together.

Ebay parcel arrived today, still doing ok with it. Boss indicated decision on payrise is imminent and have had a very positive chat with them. After all the stress of those months ago work has improved 10 fold and have shelved plans to look elsewhere :j

Off to post office now, and then ironing the ebay pile (rolls eyes - please can we have the icons back!!!!)

Makes perfect sense IMD. When my FIL died it hit my husband hard. About 2 years later DH went to see a medium and it did him the world of good. Not only did the medium explain that 'on the other side' pain that affected him in life doesn't any longer but it put a few of the 'demons' to rest.
