It was when MBNA did a similar thing on OH credit card that my lightbulb came on fully - coinciding with my first week on MSE.......hmmmm :rotfl:

It was the kick up the backside we needed - we had been "trying" to do something about it for years, but were treading water - that credit reduction though made us wake up a bit, and I have never looked back!

Needless to say - current balance on MBNA - £0.00 :D

Good advice as ever Mrs H!

Think you are all right, of course when are you not  Has given me a slight push forwards and it just means getting head down and on with it.

Slightly stressful day as puppy was over excited and tried to get out of patio door when it was only partially open, door fell off, dog concussed, me not knowing whether to laugh or cry  Result of which was £66.50 as had to find a patio man to put the door on  Who says my life is normal

Have posted all cards and presents where necessary which has cost a fair bit as well but all sorted and out of the way.

Had a nice run this morning as well, then a walk with dogs, house cleaned from top to bottom, kids have done all their xmas cards and pressie labels and all sorted!

Now sat down at last, updating spending diary with patio door and stamp expenditure and then bed.

The dog seems to have recovered from the incident, my purse no doubt will recover in time!

Had mental list of unexpected things that have happened we need to pay for:-

    Patio Door
    Leak in ceiling
    Car bill

Played BB and sadly nothing won and there was a lovely £70 in the pot as well

Got to get DS a little something extra but no idea what, was going to get a GO Go hamster but they are sold out and going for ridiculous prices - not going to get into more debt over something we can get him for his birthday for even cheaper.

Off to pretend to do some work, have done little all day....
