I think you are doing brilliantly and I love the start of a new year - It is a great time to take all those intentions and kick their butts!
You have made me really want to start up the running again, so I have booked a doctors appointment for next wednesday to see if i can find out what my problem is x
Thank youMy sig is staying as it is until there is a decrease - good for positive thinking me thinks!
Definiately go to the Drs, I've had a lot of problems with knees when running and was told that things can always be fixed. I now tend to run off road and find it a lot better and less impact on my knees. Are you in pain when you are running? I have to say that I definately have the running bug, I think entering a race and having a goal is good and my Doctor told me tonight that instead of prescribing anti-depressants to people she sends them running instead!
Slight confession is that I went to the Drs tonight on a completely different matter and ended up crying and blubberingShe was v v nice and just listened, passed me a tissue and din't try and prescribe me anything. Sure it is hormonal and feel like a bit of an idiot now but hey ho someone had to have it from me today and it looks like it was her......

The run sounds like it did the trick (for a while at least
)
Someone on PAD buys stamps towards their car tax every month which I think is a very good idea. I didn't realise you could buy them, so maybe that could be worth looking into too?

Trying to sneak around the house without waking the kids so I can get dressed in peace and quiet!
Macgirl - I always do my tax online as I hate queuing although I did used to buy stamps and think they are a good idea. I'm too excited about my "car tax" tin now anyway. I am distracted about whether I need another tin for something else, maybe I need to get out more..............1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j

Enjoy your tins
Glad you have a supportive doctor. I am sure you are right that part of it is hormonal - however when you first face up to your level of debt and start acting on it - it can be a scary place too!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I did the same thing with my gp a couple of years ago - probably one of the best things I could have done on this whole journey - she was, I think, the first person outside the house (and MSE of course) who I told about the debt, and the battles that go along with it.....
I do my cartax online too - thank goodness because I never seem to be able to find my insurance or mot documents on the day I need to go to the post office!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Recently I sold my van, but I couldn't find the log book. I had to pay £25 to get a replacement from the DVLA :mad:. A couple of weeks later when the buyer arranged to pick it up, I couldn't find the new logbook :eek: A whole day turning the house upside down to no avail. Luckily my wife found it that evening, other wise it'd've been a very embarrassing meeting with the new owner, who'd travelled 200 miles to pick it up!:o
I now have a collection of coloured plastic wallets to hopefully keep all my documents like that together, time will tell if it works!Pay off £20k (well £12.5k) by December '10 £12,500/£3398.59 = 27%
