Thank you all so much, it's bonkers that people who don't even know me can lift my mood and make me feel better. Hopefully this time tomorrow I'll be in credit in the bank (for a few days anyway) and all will be well with the world again. Itching to pay some bills and get that signature down.

Sould incredibly selfish, but it's also reassuring when I see posts/replies from people who are in a similar mess to me figure wise as I know I'm not alone. There is still a whisper in the back of my mind that I'll win the lottery and sort this out  I know I won't and it's ridiculous to think I will, maybe once I get sub 70k I may feel better about it all?

Pleased with my dough experiment, made some fab pizzas with the kids and only spent £1.29 on ingredients as got everything else in and frozen half the dough for another meal next week - look at me the great MSE'r :D

Off to chill with a cup of tea now, update tomorrow in a cheerier mood :)

Phew! Deep deep sigh of relief - checked bank and whilst no wages in there yet nothing else has come out so may (just) scrape through?! Have £60.20 left in joint account which is more than I thought :j and £185.95 left of overdraft in Bills account, BUT written cheque for £50 and Council Tax due which is about £150 and so I need to hope cheque doesn't come out on Monday, will work out potential shortfall and transfer some of the £60 over I think just to be on the safe side.

Can breathe again for a short while.............

Hi IMD - I have been subscribing to your thread for ages now, but just wanted to say, keep your chin up - things WILL get better! Its great that you are not increasing the debt, but that it is going down. Celebrate every milestone and it will keep you motivated. Hypno is an amazing inspiration as well - maybe check out some of her many diaries!?
I don't know if you have thought about challenges yet, but there are quite a few good ones to help you.
I am part of the "pay off £20k by Xmas 2009" one, which is a really good support thread - again organised by Hypno!
Not sure if there will be one for next year yet, but if not I'm sure there will be something similar!

Anyway, good luck and keep up the good work!! xx
