Brighter day today :) Got up at 6am and went out running in the pitch black with just me and my head light for company. Got rid of all evil, sad thoughts about money and came back focusing on the positives of how well we've done this week and how I need to create some extra income some other way as well. Ideas most welcome!

Then did my mammouth walk to work, purchased some porridge for breakfast and trundled off to try and concentrate and not fall asleep due to too much exertion in the morning

Checked banking and OH's expenses have gone in already :j so can clear the Tesco card now until the next lot of expenses mount it up again.

    Evening all :)

Thought I better updated incase you thought I'd !!!!!!ed off into the debt oblivion. Just completed my Sunday night ritual of spreadsheets, receipts, bank accounts, calculators blah de blah!

Best news ever is that I came in under £75 budget this week :j and under £75 food spends :j. I even managed a night out with the pricely sum of £20 and no cards. This means I am now into about 7 weeks of absolutely no credit card spends :j:j:j

OH has filled in his spending diary this week :eek::eek: and even put his chocolate sins down. Caught him having a look through mine and he made a very quiet comment that I do spend a lot of money on the kids - at last!! he's realised, maybe I'm getting there???

We have a fairly busy weekend next week with stuff planned but hoping to keep it as cheap as possible and hoping I really don't have unexpected spends this week. Bought birthday presents this week, been sensible and transferred it from savings and I honestly think I am doing ok at the moment.

Having a slight Ebay resolution problem, buyer sent the item back claiming it was faulty. Have checked it and it isn't but refunded the payment price and not postage and now he is moaning to the end of the world of back. Sent a polite email and referred it to resolution placey thing and see what they say. Hate arguments :( but the postage is £10 and why should I be out of pocket??

Anyway, that's enough from me, off to have a nosey around :)

Up bright and early, done my morning ritual at work of messing around for an hour and eating my breakfast before I could possibly think about working - think my bosses should introduce a casual half hour in the morning so we can surf the internet, get comfortable, rude awakening work at 9am!!

Have got some Next vouchers to spend and had my eye on a tweed skirt I really want but it 's £28 and my vouchers are for £20, would it be sinful to buy it? Going to sit and think about it for a while, and maybe have a brew whilst I do  work..............what's that?

Good boy OH for keeping track of his spends! Hoping to persuade mine to do the same... Slightly different as debts are mine but am putting some aside each month to save and trying to get him to do the same... Can but hope eh? :)

You sound very organised - I must confess I need to tot up my receipts for the weekend as have gotten a bit behind so you have just reminded me. £75 under is v.v. good - you should be very proud! Are you going to use that money to overspend?

Hope you get the ebay thing sorted soon - sounds like you've done the right thing by referring it to ebay to sort out.

Being productive again today. Cashing in the Tesco vouchers for two day out and two meals over half term :j Going to go to Cadburys World and Jorvik Centre plus dinner out - all we have to cover is the petrol for something which would normally cost us about £160 :j

Had to go and do a top up food shop as nothing in for kid's lunch boxes so overspent again, need to hide box better as the treats just disappear rapidly.

Ebay situation not resolved, could do with it being so i could relist the item as it is worth over £100 and I need that money!!

    Hello Mrs T :hello:

Had a very nice relaxing day and off to running club shortly, then looking forward to evening of nothingness with OH :) Spending diary up to date, nothing on ebay as nothing else to sell, all ironing done and can actually relax.

I find it so hard to relax because my mind wanders to money, debt, stress blah de blah, regrets about what I've spent, not sorting it out when I earnt more than I did now - I think I still believe I'll win the lottery and pay it all back that way

Ah well, short moan over, long journey continued.....
