Am pleased as punch about the shoes
I was going to ebay the shoes which were too small but have put them with the used shoes to say thank you. All the money goes to the dance school for costumes etc so may not be very DFW of me but I think it was only fair.
Glad you agree with me re the spending money. They both wanted sweets yesterday and so I said they had to pay for it themselves. This is such new territory for us and I feel very very guilty but it is the only way forward.
Just settled in front of TV with a fire to save the central heatingNot sure how concerned I should be about there being a "little" bit of smoke in the house  mini me has suggested the house is on fire and I am just choosing to believe it's because it hasn't been on since about March...........I hope :rotfl: Little pup is most upset after his first experience of being nosey in the fire and burning his nose, he is now looking very cross at it.

I make the kids buy their own sweets... most of the time. Asda do good offers of mini twix equivalents etc for around £1.... I tend to try and have some of them in too - saves aggro. They are only allowed max one a day - which at around 100 calories is not too badAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Another morning and bright and early at work
Made another £40 on Ebay last night which will go towards the unaccounted coal fund. Really have nothing else to sell now, so no budget slip ups allowed this month!
Disciplined OH about not using his spending diary last night. He's spent £20 since Sunday but doesn't know what on, he thinks I'm a nag........bothered.............:rotfl:1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j

Congratulations on the ebay front:j. Its so much harder to make it than it is to spend it. I worked out the other day that even though i earn almost £15 per hour, that after tax, NI and pension i take home £9 per hour . Now when i go to buy something at say £30 i realise that i have to work over 3 hours for this, it makes you think twice! I now realise it is the take home pay that counts, not the figure before deductions!!! Quite motivating for me as ultimately my aim is to go part time at work. Really enjoying your diary by the way:D

LOL @ OH... I keep asking mine if I can organise his money for him... He thinks it's hilarious that I sit here of an evening totting up receipts, doing my SOA and balancing out figures... Roll on Christmas when I have my (albeit smallish) stash of money and presents bought and he's having his last-minute panic... Think he'll be pleased when car tax time rolls around and I surprise him with being able to pay for it *big smirk:D*Dealing with my debts!Currently overpaying Virgin cc -balance Jan 2010 @ 1985.65Now @ 703.63

:hello: Had an absolutely horrendous day at work, came home and kids had been a nightmare, dogs a nightmare and then OH in a foul mood. Was supposed to go out with running club but OH not back in time and now I've eaten loads and not run it off. Aaarrrrrrrrgggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!
Spent money on some cakes out of sheer frustration and needed some hair heat protecting spray thingy as I was starting to look a bit ruffled and electrocuted. Total came to £6.18 and I think the assistant was mad as I was stood mumbling about having to pay for things and what a waste :rotfl::rotfl:I think I had a psycho moment and suited my frizzy hair style!
Just done Tescos shopping and come in just under £74 so under budget :j OH did do it on Sunday but we ran out of stuff by Weds so I think I'll stick to it!
Packed up the last of my ebay stuff to post, got a cup of tea, another cakeand pj's on!
