You can bank 4 points a day, but obviously not every day - but if I fill in my online tracker and have 5 or 6 points to bank, it will still only let me bank 4 of them!

    Oh I feel unloved :o

Oh Hypno, I think we need to raise your self esteem after such bad relationships with bank managers! You deserve better than nasty love letters from the banks, and I bet you can't say that your life isn't better off without them.

Think 'My name is Hypno and I am worthy of better love than the bank managers can give me - they are only after me for my (lack of) money'! ;):D

it frustrates me no end that A& L and the rest of the Santander group don't do faster payments, you'd think they'd do them between themselves at the very least.
Glad you got your charges back!

apple pies sound yummy at the moment :)

Quick post before not so lovely OH comes back. He quietly slipped in this morning that he had an email LAST WEEK that bonuses were not being paid :(:(:(:( Not sure if they will be paid late or not at all. Absolutely gutted. This was our safety net for the car purchase and would have put us back on the straight and narrow to dealing with the debts.

Am so so cross that he has not told me earlier, knowing we have things that need to be paid this week. He also spent an extortionate amount on money on some sporting equipment which I "ok'd" as I thought it would be covered by the bonus and he deserved a treat - what a laugh :rotfl:

So, no idea where things stand, I was awake until 5am this morning worrying whilst he laid next to me snoring away - his answer is "just don't pay as much off the debts this month" - doesn't he know I am paying the minimum plus an additional £100. OMG to live in his world where we can just not pay the f***ing debts this month.

The only good thing about staying awake all night was I watched a programme about the homeless and at least things aren't that bad, and it is always the worst thing in the world to think late at night.

I don't blame him for the bonus as it is beyond his control but he hasn't asked any more questions after getting the email, surely it is reasonable for him to ask whether it will be paid and if so when - but he refuses to do so? And it is just the keeping it from me and then expecting me to wave a magic wand to pay the extras this month

I am so upset that I could cry but I refuse to - have had a migraine because of the worry.

Know it is all me, me, me but there is no one else I can tell - OH even said that we shouldn't have spent it before we got it - we didn't but we made plans for it. Aaaaarggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!
    1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j
    2nd debt - MBNA - £6,618.52
First in many many to go - baby steps and all that!
First lump sum to go - fingers crossed!
    08/06/09 - [STRIKE]£11,497.68[/STRIKE] NOW - £9,757.75

Oh hun, I am so so sorry. What a complete PITA.....and there is no excuse for OH not telling you straight away so I can understand why you feel so disheartened.

Big virtual hugs coming your way xxx
