So sorry to hear about the bonus:(. I know exactly what you mean about carrying the burden of the debt on your own... I am exactly the same . DH's car needs fixing and I am the one having sleepless nights worrying how to pay for it, whilst he snores next to me:mad:

Hopefully this week will improve for both of us;)

    love

The only thing is the £70 OH took out on Friday for spends has gone and he cannot explain where......I have spent about £6........banging a head against a wall

So, does the fact that you have cash in the bank ahead of payday mean that you are budgetting better, are cutting back somewhere, or making better choices? If so, then that is a fantastic improvement, surely :T And it it IS the case, then you wil make great strides going forward :j

I suppose look at it like that and yes I must be budgeting better. One of the reasons is that we generally pay Council Tax the day OH is paid and sometimes it lapses by a day or two. Normally I spend it and suffer the consequences but this month I have made sure it is there, also have an extra £80 there so maybe yes I am budgeting better :D

Oh poop about the bonus. My OH has only recently had a LBM, granted it is only an energy saving bulb but previous to that it was on a dimmer switch. He will get better but it will take time.

I to feel that I have the burden of it all on my shoulders. I work full time as a teacher so do 45 to 60 a week and I am still the one that does all the ebaying and money tracking. I feel very stressed at times and I wish that he could make it easier.
