    Ok I'm a freak!!

Think I'm having post marathon blues, nothing to aim for, back to the debt blah de blah!

Me and OH have a list of jobs we need to do in the house, they won't take long or cost much but they are jobs we have put off, like the toilet roll holder, patch up some paintwork. I have done one of my jobs so feel quite pleased with myself. Aiming to try and do one job a day.

Worked out we are £300 down on savings due to car and I want to make that back up and we need £615 to pay for the holiday in June. Theoretically we can use OH's bonus in June so I know we will do it, but am going to have a challenge to see how much I can raise towards it on my own initiative! So a mere £915 to find in a month :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Good thing is we are buying DS a new bike for his birthday and saw one half price in Tescos today down to £80 so going to withdraw some savings for that and then that's a present sorted :D

Am still in useless catch up mode, really really busy at work and then when I get home and it is still light I'm doing stuff with the kids and then bed - where did my life and spare time go? Hoping to try and regain some control back over it next week.

Have got my first run tomorrow since Sunday and my legs are feeling quite sprightly so fingers crossed I do ok!

Hi IMD, don't stress about not being on here - you've just been living your life!

Are you still doing the Manc 10k? Can't remember if you said you were giving it a miss after the marathon. Hope you get all your jobs done and manage to enjoy the weekend x

Well I am in the doldrums today! Didn't get to bed until 2am and up at 5am - worrying about money. Managed to put it to the back of my mind for a few weeks but for some reason it came back with a bang last night.

Had a look at my snowball and the set back we have had with the car. Had a promising few weeks in which OH made a few pounds on an idea he had but it has back fired and we have realised it is a no goer. It has just made me think that to shift this then I REALLY need to find some additional income. Have trawled pages of here and t'internet last night looking for stuff, inspiration, a brainwave - it only has to be something simple but can't think of anything!

Need to do a clearout, the kids are growing out of their clothes and they need new ones. Money is tight and I don't feel I can afford to go splashing out on clothes.

I have to do an ebay stint this week and get some stuff on ebay and that involves me being proactive and tackling a room at a time. At the same time I am bogged down with work, tired all the time and now just feel overwhelmed!

So I need tobe proactive, think positive. Have looked at my snowball :eek::eek::eek: but then I need to face reality, snowball says it may take 76 months and I'm being over ambitious trying to crush it in half the time. I am basically setting myself for a fall.

So back off to trawl the boards, use my initiative and think outside the box!
