Thank you Thank you Thank you :D

Well I worked bl00dy hard, stripped to my bra at one point due to the heat, weed in a bush and did it in ...........da da da

    4hr 29

Was thrilled as fastest I've ever done it and finished smiling (although I wasn't smiling at certain points!!) Had a picnic in the park afterwards and really really enjoyed the day. It's amazing, it is incredibly tough but if you get a chance everyone should do it - the crowds are so fantastic and a friend surprised me at 20 miles which was just fantastic.

To put it lightly I am absolutely knackered this morning, blisters, sure I've broken my bottom :rotfl: but would I do it again - yes :rotfl: This is how I am feeling this morning and my walk to the train was interesting.....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-hCuYjvw2I

Will catch up more tomorrow as I'm off work and going to make an effort to catch up with everyone's diaries as I have been in marathon manic panic for the last week. I have to say though i was very MSE and I spent £20 all weekend as I spent the weekend with a brilliant friend who lived in London but I am going to send her a bunch of flowers to thank her.

So it was lovely, if I can get some pictures I will secretly let you have some as I am still of course undercover. But thank you for the lovely messages.

Now back to the finances

But I'm so happy, oh so happy!

Well done - I'm SOOOO proud of you! :D

I really, really want to run a marathon (prefereably London), but I have a bad knee so I'm not sure that I'll ever get round to it, but I intend to visit a physiotherapist as soon as I have some cash to spend on it.

    Congratulations once again - you totally deserve it! :T :T :T :T :T :T

I am so pleased for you - 4hrs 30 is what I yearn for......43 mins to knock off then....simples :rotfl:

You worked hard for this and deserved to enjoy it and to get a good time. I was so pleased to see the result yesterday (although I was even more pleased when it was temporarily 3-29 on fb!) :T:T:T

  • Oh well done IMD, brilliant time, you must be so proud of yourself and rightly so! I too watched some on TV and was wondering how you were doing. Mr R did 4.29 in his first London one too, what a coincidence! And well done on having a thrifty marathon weekend too.

There's really no holding you back now!
