Let's face it if I don't laugh I'll cry so I need all the jokes I can have right nowSuch a difference being able to come on here and have such nice messages and suggestions of shoplifting and child labour to dwell on.
Well I have 3 (yes 3!!!!) reasons to be cheerful:-
(1) OH has submitted his expenses on the last day of the month for the first time in his entire working career (please don't faint)
(2) We have calculated the mileage tax relief to be £1200 or thereabouts (I did faint about that bit) and that form is being sent today
(3) He has found a way of making some extra pennies on his computer and has a grand plan.
And all this whilst football was on and we were huddled around the fire :rotfl:
I have left the boiler to OH, he can deal with the children's delight that they can look like chimney sweepers with no hot water and hence no baths and allegedly he is in "control". We are shortlisting cars to spend a glorious Bank Holiday weekend looking at  Looking at spending about £4k on a car a few years old as I think that will do us quite satisfactorily.
My mission for today is to source a new boiler and appoint someone from MSE to stand on watch whilst I try and run off with it from the showroom - any takers??? At the same time i will be dragging a brand new Audi A4 out of a showroom via ropes attached to my shoulders and I am going to generate my own electricity via such methods to save on the bills. Me - I'm an absolutely bl00dy skint genius1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j
2nd debt - MBNA - £6,618.52
First in many many to go - baby steps and all that!
First lump sum to go - fingers crossed!
08/06/09 - [STRIKE]£11,497.68[/STRIKE] NOW - £9,757.75

Darlink don't be 'driven' to dragging the Audi out of the showroom, take it for a 'test drive'Hire yourself a builder with payment via your newly appointed occupation and get him to get the boiler and 'put it on account'. Watch 'Shameless' and learn how to 'fiddle the lecky'! Sorted. :T

My car was about 4 years old and on its third owner, but only had 30-something thousand miles on the clock when I got it. I've had it five years and I couldn't ask for a better car. Hope you get one just as reliable!

I'll stand watch as I'm small, incongrous and can squirt vinegar in their eyes to help you escape. And I can roll away, which has got to be faster than running, especially if there's a hill involved.
OR...nick the car first and use it as a getaway vehicle for the boiler heist. With all the hot water you can produce with it, you could make a clean getaway! :rotfl:
Well done - you are doing brilliantly, and it's good to see that you are feeling more positive about things. :TPlease call me 'Pickle'
