A bit extreme I think. Perhaps you should start with sending the children up chimneys at this stage........if that doesn't net enough, then you can think of prostitution.

A lot of carp is happening all at once for you - I am sorry about that....

Just keep putting one foot in front of the other, and remember to breathe and one day you will get the other side of this.....

Hello IMD, I have spent this evening reading all your diary, not sure how I've missed it up to now :o:) sorry to hear things aren't good right now with the boiler and car, but the overall vibe from your diary is very positive and it sounds as though both of you are wanting to batter down the debt together :)

Only a small suggestion, but do you do any of the survey sites? They don't bring in huge sums but its all small extra amounts that can help along the way, some sites pay cash, others vouchers for high street stores, all of which can be used as treats or put towards xmas pressies? Ignore me if you already do but I haven't seen any mentioned :)

  • Oh IMD.

    (((HUGS))

I can sympatise with you on the boiler. Ours packed in when DS2 was 2 months and i was on Maternity leave and DH had just been made redundant and we therefore had no money !! . It was also November so we could not do without it !! . We got through it by taking the finance British Gas offered !! . Not cheap , but it was the only option at the time.

You will always find a way, sweets. :A

I'm very sorry about your new troubles.

My only suggestion is avoid the prostitution and steal things and run away instead. If nothing else, you should be able to out-distance 99.9% of people thanks to the marathon training. ;)

  • Hi IMD - just wanted to add some extra "well done" and "keep going"s on top of everyone else's (far better worded) comments.

It might feel like a heap of crap all at once, but you should be proud that you're standing up and dealing with it and not just bunging it on another credit card.
